Does anyone know if they are planning to swing thru here this year at all? I was at the new year's show and it was freaking fantastic!!

I've seen them a total of 6 times here in Asheville, and of those 6, this past year's NYE show was by far my least favorite. Honestly, if they don't have time to do a residency at the Peel anymore, I'd almost rather they just spread the love somewhere else with a good large venue (somewhere close by, of course)
One night at any of the smaller venues in Asheville is pointless, as it would sell out literally within seconds, and the Civic Center is just not a fun place to see a show. It was for some, I guess, but I know I was not the only one disappointed by the choice of venue last year.
Lantern Fest made it all worth while though, so I definitely wouldn't mind an excuse to do that again

I don't care where the show is... i just look forward to reuniting with that great big group of awesome Avett Nation folk again. Lantern Fest and "Coffee Terrorism" FTW.
