Avett Brother Photo Book

Avett Brother Photo Book

I'm just gonna take the temperature on this idea. I was thinking about making a book of my Avett Brother photos, live, candid & staged from over the years. Would that be something that people would like to own. I think I'm going to make it regardless just wondering if getting it published and mass produced would be worth the time.

Replies for this Board Topic

I'd definitely buy one.

Count me in for two.

In the summertime, when all the trees and leaves are green and the redbird sings, I'll be blue 'cause you don't want my love.

I think it's a great idea! I'd buy at least one.

Jeremy, that's a wonderful idea! I've checked out your photos on Flickr and they are really great (I like your paintings very much as well). I don't think you'd have any trouble finding fans who would want to buy this book.

Your work is something special and I think that it's enhanced by the personal relationship you have with the guys. It would be neat if you included some photos that we haven't seen before. I think that alone would guarantee you some sales. I know this gal would buy at least one copy.

Changing the plans that I’ve been setting on
I’m scared by the way that my life is getting gone

it would fit nicely right between my Beatles, Zeppelin, Smiths, Dead + Sublime coffee table browsers. will this include pics of some of the more conspicuous openers/supporting acts (i.e. your roomie) through the years as well??

p.s. i am going on a record numbe of missed captcha's for this response btw.

Jeremy, I think that is a wonderful idea. You do a great job of capturing a moment with your photos. I would buy 100! (okay, -99).

Ditto, count me in, Jeremy. Love your work (and got a kick to see you use the same camera as I do-well I guess it's one of your many!). Keep us posted.

May you never be embarrassed to sing.

Sounds great! I'm down for one- or two-

Please before Sony does one!

J, were you at the show at Little Brothers in Columbus, OH back in 05? I think Mike and Lindsey were there taking pics. Would love to see anything from that night - our 3rd show.

sounds like a great idea. me being a newbie I'd love to see your work.
Can't wait to go to some of their shows, I'm trying to be a "amateur" photographer lol. Trying being the key word there. It's more of a hobby than anything....

I was. I'm not sure how many photos I have from that show that came out. I'd have t really dig to find them. The digging process has begun though.

thanks for listening.

WIthout question. Your candid pictures especially capture something really special and somewhat indefinable that I absolutely love.

Give the love you find until it's gone

I would!!!

I've never seen any of your pictures (or maybe I have, just not known they were taken by you) but everyone seems pretty enthused on the idea, which makes me curious and would be eager to purchase a copy!

agreeing with Mia on this one lol

Jeremy - I'd defnitely like to have some sort of compilation with your pics... I've always wanted a coffee table type book - I love looking at pics and always wanted to have a book of pics of avett shows, etc....

Also - If you could throw some NC shows in there - thatd be a nice bonus....

just tell me where to sign up and thanks for the offering

Free is not your right to choose, It's answering what's asked of you, To give the love you find until it's gone.

That was our third show (I think). I remember seeing you there. I think Mike and Lindsey were there as well. A couple years later we sat directly in front of you on NYE in Charlotte. Looking forward to a report on your progress.
