i have the main part of this song down however i do not know the picking pattern,

I don't think that 6th fret is right - sounds like Seth goes back to the 5th there?Love how he makes that big sigh at the beginning - and of course the line "I'd give here things back gladly but I threw them in a river." cool song to learn while I play hooky from work!
Im sorry about that its actually 7 i believe.. or 5, honestly i tuned my guitar back and im too lazy to check but i know 6 is a typo. I would love some help on the higher strings because i am not accustomed to open d tuning and i dont really know the chord shapes, open c i know haha. If any one can help it would be greatly appreciated.
