At the @avettbrothers show at HoB in Beantown. They are killing it. I like these boys! Great harmonies. I'm inspired. Thank God for music

what a show! Just got home from my first - NOT MY LAST - Avett Brothers show.
Amazing. The level of energy and committment they boys put in blows me away.
Being my first time I can't claim to be an expert here, but Scott's voice did sound a little tired. I don't know how he does it. He leaves nothing on the stage. Hell, I was hoarse from just singing and shouting along! Hope he's taking care of it on off days.

And Living of Love was incredible....but If Its the Beaches took my breath away (and deserves all the corny that comes with that statement, haha).
Becca/Gunner - Great seein you guys again...looking forward to huddling against a brick wall with you folks again soon, haha....Ithaca here we come! (we have to keep ourselves going with happy thoughts of future shows, right? right! although....i'll be high off of this weekend's NYC/Boston glory for weeks to come).
And I have to know....because after we gave up and piled in our car to drive away we noticed you two still hanging out....did you get to wish the boys luck??? (it was perfect meeting Joe....he's just adorable and AMAZING on stage....Joe and Bob are really finding some stage presence lately and I'M LOVING IT!)

Hey Andrea- I'm sorry I didn't actually chat with you! No, we didn't see anyone outside - Gunnar wanted to take a couple of pictures of the outside of the venue and then we were just kind of drinking it in one last moment. (Embarrassed to think that we might have looked rather pathetic!)
Wow. Can't think too straight right now, but that show was just so incredibly good. I was so elated during Living of Love.
Lawrence, we didn't even see the poster! I just never got to the merch table and was kicking myself afterwards because I had wanted to buy a sticker.
great set. Funny to hear G. Love is on board. I would have expected him to be at the philly show before the boston show.
I don't know if it sold out. I talked to the box office when it opened and he felt like it might sell out, but not sure. Capacity was 2600 or so and it was packed. Crazy to see them in these four big venues--all between 2K and 3K.
Nicole Atkins was awesome again! I didn't see the poster either.
Great show. If It's the Beaches blew me away--I hadn't seen it since December, then we got it twice in this run, yet it still got me both times, even moreso in this show.. Scott's voice was a little bit hoarse, but it didn't hold him back at all. Seth was all smiles the entire night. This was a great ending to a four show run for them (and me.)
