CL: The music you play sounds like it would attract older, more traditional music listeners as well as the younger, hipper generations. So what's a typical Avett Brothers crowd like?
SA: They're about exactly as you described (laughs). We're blessed to see families there. From the 5-year-old's first concert to the grandfather being there as the head of the family. We don't know how to account for that. You can't plan to write a song that's going to relate to a teenager and a woman in her 50s.

Thanks for posting this...one day I may get sick of hearing them answer the same questions but they usually throw something unique into every answer so I'm not tired yet

I agree about preferring the interview vs. the general article. The members of the band are very articulate and don't need PR or platitudes.
This article, again had something new to say.
