Sweet! Interesting mix. Rainbow Stew?
Wonderful set. Wish I could have been there. I'm so excited for new years.
Rainbow Stew...is that the Merle Haggard song? Would've loved to have heard that...hopefully someone caught it on tape!
Nice set......how nice to have seen them again in such an intimate setting. Would've loved to have traded places with anyone of you lucky guys!
Merle Haggard Rainbow Stew??? Awesome!
Talk On Indolence breakdown...

Merle Haggard, yes, that's the one. It was pretty wild seeing them in such a small place again. All in all a great show. The highlight for me was traveling song - they just nailed it! (guess that practice paid off!). Sanguine and Lowering were awesome as well. Ahhh, wish I was going to Asheville now...
Gosh Lowering and Sanguine I would've thought I'd died, gone to heaven, and the angels were playing banjos. I love they did Rainbow Stew. I just heard Mighty Merle do that one live last month and it was so much fun with everyone singing along. I bet the boys killed it. Jealous but happy for those of you getting to experience all this.

Awesome show. Sanguine.....
It was so nice to be with a respectful crowd. When it came to the slower songs, the crowd really listened. Thank you for the great sanguine video. One of my favorites.
The last verse to Matrimony was amazing, I hope someone caught that on video. Another highlight for me was Scott's expression when the crowd started the first lines of Paranoia, then he picked up where we left off. Seth seemed to be having the time of his life up there. He said something to the effect of "We've been fortunate enough to be playing larger and larger venues, and coming into tonight I felt like this was a smaller place to play...but it sure looks pretty big from here. Before the show I was like, there's a lot of people out there...I'm scared as hell."
I can't wait to see what they have in store for these Asheville shows.
Sanguine was beautiful. Thanks for the video.
I echo what everyone has said about the crowd, and the set list. I was happy hearing Sanguine, and The Lowering in that environment. I've hear both songs at larger shows, but the crowd noise drowned out the subtleties. Last night I heard every note. Amazing.
As no one else has brought it up, I'm gonna come right out and ask. Did Scott not sound, and act a little under the weather to you? Somebody get that boy some echinacea. It was hot in there last night, gotta be tough to sing, and play with a nasty head cold.
Scott did appear to be a little under the weather...hope it's not too bad. I had my bout with what's going around last week, and it is no fun.
Here is a vid I got of Paranoia http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLVMo1-6sHQ
thanks for the Sanguine video, I was standing next to\in front of whoever took it! I recognized the guy in the hat, and the top of my wife's head shows up at the bottom of your screen every so often! (she's a short thing!). that made me smile!
Before even reading this thread, I had been watching the videos and commented to my son that Scott didn't seem to be quite himself. Hope he's feeling better. Sanguine was.....just wow. Thanks for the video. Also agree that Seth appeared to be having the time of his life!
Filtered, you got in?? Fantastic!
No joke. Captcha : eAvtt
Just thought I would put up Paranoia from another angle....

Yes, I got in thanks to a sweet girl.
Is there a video of The Lowering? I would love to see it. Thanks all. It is also good to see that the quality of videos is really getting better. Great work for those of us who can only experience it through our laptops!
Here is a video I took of the "Magazines" cover. Such an awesome night!
