Came across this vid on youtube today (not mine) but I thought I would share!

I really liked this new way to play and sing the song. I also liked the old way. the fact that they are ever changing and thinking of new ways to play old songs says a great deal about this band.
Most would say, okay we got the song and shelf it.

Love it, love it!!!! When I heard there was a different version being played, I was nervous. Traveling Song was the first song I ever heard. WHY won't I learn??? So great! (Seth's dancing just kills me..........in a good way!)

oh my gosh, wifeoftinman, that must be when Joe was c-walking!
Someone on facebook or twitter, can't remember, posted that she was pretty sure Joe was c-walking in Indy. Joe replied "what's c-walking?" So funny and great! ( I didn't know either, btw.)

I never would have imagined Traveling Song slowed down. I like it, but still love love love the original.
i believe they soundchecked this version in Dewey Beach 7/11/08. Not exactly sure, but i know it was sometime during that summer tour. I know they played the "regular" fast version as part of the 5 song encore that night.
Seth's Shuffle in Traveling Song (about 3:00 in) kills me!
