The mailman just came by and dropped off an amazon.com box full of books, but no Avett Boxed set. Any guilt/shame associated with downloading album prior to release date has been washed away.

Same here. The mail has come and gone with no box. I'm heading to the mountains tomorrow so I guess it'll just have to sit at the door for a few days. I guess ordering the first day that it was offered didn't mean a d@#% thing.
Same here.....very frustrated over this. And I'm sick of skyroo blaming the USPS......they ship packages where they are told. I don't care what skyroo offers, I will never use them again.
i still haven't received my package either. IT'S TORTURE.

i just tracked the package and it says... Processed through Sort Facility, September 30, 2009, 2:03 pm, ALLEN PARK, MI 48101 , i checked google maps and thats 3 hours away.... think it will be here tomorrow?

i checked my status and said it was in Greensboro, NC on the 29th, however, they have no other info about it..... this blows.... I've been pretty patient about all this, but if its not here today - i'll finally get full blown pissed and will let my mind be known by the folks at the USPS....

oldsorryman, I already have mine, but I didn't have an tracking infor either for a while, and then I checked the skyroo page one more time and they had added a link to track the package via USPS.

the tracking info for mine is one the conf. email skyroo sent on the 25th... it was a really long link at the bottom of the email... i dont know if that helps?

I didn't get mine today, either! It was processed at a facility this morning at 7 AM that's two and a half hours from my school. But somehow it didn't make it here.
If absence makes the heart grow fonder, I can't imagine how much I'm going to love this album when I finally get it.
beatles, your's will probably come tomorrow. The day before mine came it had been processed through a station 2 hours from me at 6am. Next day it had been processed through my local office and on the truck for delivery.

skyroo sent it "media mail" class, which is the SUPER slow boat for usps; no priority whatsoever. i was charged 15 bones for shipping & handling. media mail cost them $2.77 from franklin, tn. i'd say that's pretty crappy handling for 12 bucks. i have it in my grubby hands now, so it's all in the past, but i won't order from them again. echomusic was WAY better.

I finally got it yesterday. I liken it to childbirth once it was in my arms I forgot all of the pain. It was extremely painful to not have it on the 29th. It was worth the wait. It is incredible!!!
Got mine yesterday and there really are a lot of goodies in there. Vinyl, cd, demo cd, bandana, signed lithograph all very cool. Artwork is nice too. All the self portraits and photos probably appeal more to you ladies than me but that's OK.
Did I mention that listening to the vinyl on good quality stereo equipment is quite an experience?

On monday when it didn't come I was like what a drag, tuesday I was like REALLY!! wednesday I started to just get annoyed with the postal service, thursday I kept checking for I was SURE it was coming, and today it's friday and now I'm just sad.

Skyroo sent it to my address but not to my P.O. box, so it got shipped back to Memphis and I called customer service and they said they dont know where it is and theyre having to make me a new one, arrival date: Thursday 10/8. Buzzkill city. Some things werent meant to be...

Mine finally came today.......I reacted way too silly for my own taste when I saw the mailman park his jeep, but there's nothing wrong with a little joy. At least now I can stop swearing so much!!
