Easy Squeazy

Easy Squeazy

Trying to learn a few TAB songs on the guitar. Hopefully I'll be getting a banjo soon though.

Just wondering. What is the easiest TAB song to play according to you guys? or What's a good one to learn for a beginner?

Thanks

I would probably advise to try the standard version of Swept Away. It's got your basic G, C and D chords and then a couple of Em's as well. Doesn't get much easier if you're beginning to play. Plus, it's a fun one to sing along with. Have fun!

I think she's talking about Famous Flower of Manhattan. I've covered it and it's fairly simple. Are you planning on singing too, or just want to play one instrumentally?

I've got several Avett covers on my YouTube Channel you can check out.

Swept Away was the first one I ever learned...I'd recommend it. In my opinion, Backwards With Time isn't incredibly simple.

Swept Away
Denouncing November Blue
Famous Flower of Manhattan
I Killed Sally's Lover

Those are all pretty simple...

I killed sally's lover is not as easy on the banjo. A lot of people have a hard time keeping up with the speed of the song, and forming a "D" shape that quickly. I you can do those things, it is a lot of fun!
