Nice setlist!

Love this setlist! I got a phone message from Taryn during November Blue, and I wish I had gone!

Luckyyyy!(in a Napolean Dynamite tone)

Meanwhile, there's Scott's voice, one of the most emotionally naked in any genre, merging with Seth's more guarded intimacy to sound like angels arm wrestling and tears drying on a cheek

Taryn--thanks for the phone call! Listening to the voicemail made my morning a little brighter (especially since I had to be at work early this morning).

lildeadhead: that pen she uses to keep her setlists? it's a human-finger bone. dipped in the blood of the ones who yell out during "murder in the city". poetic, no?

Anyone know what time they took the stage last night?

Yankee,
Yeah I was...I saw you and your wife and I was trying to get your attention from the balcony, but you couldn't see/ hear me.. It was a fun show wasn't it?

Great set list. I think I like it better than the Baltimore show I was at. Is this the 1st time they did not play Paranoia since they have been playing it. It seems they have always played it and rightfully so.

No, Margin Walker, I've been to shows recently where it has not been played.

It was a great show and loved that they opened with Incomplete and Insecure--is this is the first time they've played it since that first time in Norfolk last year (the "Finished" video?) I thought the sound at the Electric Factory was terrible. Kinda muddy and even the guys seemed to be having trouble with the sound on stage. The staff was great, though.

Wish me luck, I know you think I'll need it.
For all the hardest roads we have to walk alone.

will take November Blue in trade for the guys not coming out to chat any day. But props to Bob for at least spending a few minutes letting us know the others were already sleeping... I hope they were rested up for the big NYC show on Saturday!

Sound is always terrible at Electric Factory, and because it's big and flat, most people can't see - that's why I didn't go. I'm afraid they'll never play a small venue in Philly again.

Why do people hate "Yardsale"?

If I could have it my way, I would have them play The Church. A nice small personal space in the basement of a church in center city. That would be my ideal place to see them, though I can't complain about what we got at the Electric Factory, it was a fabulous show.

Noe that they have big time management and backing from major label $$, the Church is probably out of the question - Main Sanctuary would probably be better though, right? More room to get up and dance! ha ha.
