TAB are on the home page on emusic, they're the "buzz" of the day. They had short and sweet write up about them too.

The Avett Brothers have come on just like their songs: Humble, thoughtful but relentlessly consistent. North Carolinian brothers Seth and Scott Avett, along with Bob Crawford and Joe Kwon, have emerged as the most prominent force in folk rock in recent years, mixing plaintive banjo melodies and honey dipped harmonies. Now they're working with super producer Rick Rubin and playing to sold out audiences across the country. To celebrate the band's impressive rise, eMusic is offering select releases from the Avetts' back catalog at a steep discount as a primer on one of the most vital acts around. Go and get acquainted.

Very cool - I almost wish I didn't have all their songs already so I could support emusic doing this. Almost Smiling

emusic's pretty great, for those of us that still purchase our digital music. they even have the mourning, the silver and the bell...so if anyone needs some digital avett love, take advantage!

Yeah and pm me if you plan on joining so we both can get some free songs...Eye-wink They have a deal where if a friend joins they get free dl's and so do you. Kind of a musical pyramid scheme if you will. I have been on emusic for several years. I always use my downloads and have discovered some good music on there.

I have emusic to thank for my Avett addiction. Started with 20-30 tracks from there after a cousin recommended checking out TAB, saw one of the New Year's shows in Charlotte last December, then came home and downloaded everything else I could find on emusic or Amazon.
