** and actually my signature one about Hoon means many different things to me, not just the reference to Shannon, but because as i said in a different thread, i "think" i have a good idea which song that would be referring to (based on the context of the song), if indeed it actually IS referring to a particular song... and if it is, that just makes it that much more special.
freedomrequiem, that "...its happinging right now to you" is one that always makes me think of it being their own version of john lennon's line "....life is what happens to you while youre busy making other plans".... (i love j. lennon)

jp1204-- I'm thinking (and i know i could be completely wrong)... but based on how the "girl" in the song is basically comparable to everything that he loves the most, ... i would say "Soul One". Again... i'm not claiming to know anything... but thats just my best guess, and how i perceive it.

BobZ, I absolutely love this . I wish I had been there. I am sure that it was a knee-jerk reaction for Seth just to come out with that reply....what a sweetheart!
Today (given a really upsetting email I got from my father at 3 am), we're gonna go with:

Since this thread started, I've put on my listening ears for lines that grab me and shake me. Well, they all do, Folks. So this exercise in comparison has felt fruitless. TAB are masters of inventing some durn good lyrics. Here's a few that I found myself screeching in the shower last night:

Love songs are corny, but I'll make an exception for this gushy sweetness:
