Go to Sleep - Intended for Mignonette???

It seems as though Go to Sleep is about the crew of Mignonette.... how did this not end up on that album, or am I taking it too literally.... "Wipe the blood from your face and your hands, forgive yourself if you think that you can...." seems literally about the crew and the cannibalization that occurred....

here is a little on that topic, however it appears some of the original post and maybe even some of the comments are missing. I believe some things were lost when they transitioned to this new forum from the previous one.

Oh my gosh, i never thought about it, but now that i do it makes so much sense!!!
Well then yea, it could have very easily been intended for mignonette. Now i think it's very possible.

Agreed, I always associate Go To Sleep as a missing song from Mignonette, but that's just me. LindaM I think you meant to post a link? Much appreciated, other thoughts/threads are always helpful!

word around the campfire is that it's a personal song from Scott during struggling times in his life.
supposedly, "Go to sleep, my man" is something his wife would say to him during these times.

but, i got all that from the people on this board.

Ha, I've always used "word on the street," but i like 'word around the campfire' alot. Smiling
