Great Everybodyfields Video

I've been missing the Everybodyfields. Can't stop playing their albums.
We've seen Sam Quinn+Japan Ten and my wife and I just can't get enough of him. Beautiful music.
Anywho, came across this vid which I'd never seen before. Fun interview and lovely songs.

Thanks for posting this!
I must say I miss them pretty bad myself. Ive seen them both play seperately since the split, its still great and everything, but deffinitely not the same....Alot of loneliness in the air it seems. Good to see Jill is a mom now though!
Want to add another link....some of you may have seen this one already. One of the most beautiful videos on youtube, in my opinion.

Japan Ten is good, everybodyfields were great. When I can't decide what to put on I just pick The Everybodyfield mix, can't go wrong.
Ughhh, soo good. So melancholy. They ARE the season of fall for me.
I never really focus on musicians personal lives, but the studio 865 video really made me notice... they just seem... heartbroken.
I may be way out of the loop, but does anyone know the dynamic that existed between Sam & Jill? I've read the whole band camp & songwriting thing or whatever it was, but it looks to me like like waaaay more than that.
Just wondering...
Oh, they were together for a bit. Then they broke up and wrote some music inspired by said break up, then started talking again and realized they had some damn good music. made a little album called "Nothing is Okay."
Saw them a few months before they started playing as their independent acts and then broke up. There was definitely some weird tension with them onstage. Some of the girls with us sort of predicted it, but I was too busy being in love with Jill and with the Everybodyfields sound to give it much credence. Guess the ladies are more sensitive to this kind of thing
breaks my heart. I think they said they had a whole other album's worth of music basically ready to record.
didn't know about Jill being preggers till she had her kid though- still don't know much about that.
hopefully will continue to hear from them.

I dont think its Sams kid, but im not 100%. And im basing my ideas entirely on the song Another Man and the tension between them during the final stretch of shows. Whoever is the dad though, is one lucky man, thats for damn sure.
Iwhofollowthegleam - Its funny you mention that, because I took my girlfriend at the time to Jills first solo show back in February and the first thing she said was that Jill looked as if she was a few months into a pregnancy. I didnt notice, I dont know how she even did because Jill was seated most of the time.....I guess girls just have that gift. And like you I was distracted by her face/voice.
"Whoever is the dad though, is one lucky man, thats for damn sure."
You got that right. Oh, and it's pretty obvious in recent videos/pictures that she's, um, benefited from the pregnancy/nursing.
That's my sexist remark for the day.

The child is not Sam's...100% positive on this one!
They recorded a full album and it was being sent off for mastering. It was supposed to be released this spring. One of the band members decided they didn't want the album to come out. They wanted the new songs for their own project. So the everybodyfields album was canned.
Sam and Jill were a couple, but they parted ways and then decided to stay together as a band.
I'm not positive, but i think Another Man, was written about another boyfriend...not Sam. How weird woudl it be for Sam to sing harmonies on a song like that, that is about him. I think it's abotu someone else.
Jill is supposed ot be releasing an EP soon, and Sam is going to try to have a full record out by December.
I think there is going to be a live DVD for sale at Sam's Bristol show this Friday.
Jill has a limited edition CD for sale right now for $60. I think it's limited to 50 copies, and it's so she can buy a touring van. see www.jillandrews.com for more details. I think she has about 25 left as of right now.
Gosh, I'd buy two of them if money wasn't so tight.
As it is, I can't even afford one. I wish her and her new bandmates the best and I'll *definitely* support them in concert when they hit the road.

Cant wait till Friday....hopefully the DVD is only like 20 something bucks...
I heard it's going to be $10. It's a nice DVD. I got my copy a couple of days ago.
In my opinion, it's better than the two Avett Bros. DVDs that have been floating around here for the last few months.
I think the intial run was 36 copies. It's possible there will be more copies made after that.
hope he sells them at rhythmNroots - gonna try and make it saturday.

I have an extra DVD if anyone wants it. I picked it up at the end of the night. I figured I would give the folks that were there a chance to grab one before I bought an extra one. They were $10. As I was leaving, there was one more on the table, and a guy was looking over it. I am quite sure they sold out by the end of the night.
Yes! I sent you a message.
