For any of ya who didn't know, and I guess it's kinda short notice, we're having a throw down at The Blind Tiger in Greensboro on July 4th. The 4th is my birthday and I used up all my points with the owners to book one last show there.

As you may or may not know, The Blind Tiger is closing down in a couple of month and will be no more. This place has been the hub for many friends and music lovers for years. I've met some of my best friend's there and have YEARS of fond memories. I've seen everyone from Jim Avett to 2 Live Crew on that stage and I will sorely miss it.

But before she goes, we're gonna have one more party.

So, Sunday July 4th Avett Nation rises and Paleface and Mo are gonna drive all the way from Nashville to give us a show (an early show too so Hester and Meg can get to bed early like they like) and Kyle is doing us a favor by opening with his group Buffalo Road. The show should be over by 12 midnight and I plan in being your personal DJ (albeit probably drunken) for the rest of the night.

It's gonna be a great party and one last chance to see a great couple of bands in a venue that we all love, one last time.
