It was sold out in 3 minutes. I was lucky enough to snag some good tickets, tried to go back in at 12:03 and buy some more (we have over 4 people going,) and it was already sold out.
What seats did you get, Coldufo? I got section three row S or something or other. They look like pretty good seats, though section 1 would have been awesome.
Oh, and to answer the original question, no, I didn't have any trouble. But, I signed in at 11:50 am and just refreshed the page every few seconds from 11:59 until it showed a Buy Tickets button.
How did you know they were sold out? Did it say so? I'm just asking because when I tried to get limited release tix last week for Charlotte, it took me at least 13 minutes to get through for two tix. If there is a message saying "sold out", then I'd take them at their word, but if you don't get a message, I say keep trying for a bit.

It sold out in less than 2 minutes, I tried at 12:01 to get in and it already said "Presale sold out". That's crazy. Just have to wait until Friday for Ticketmaster, I guess.

@Erin - I was doing some serious reloading starting at 11:59, and I got lucky enough to get 4 tickets in section 1 5th row (E). I consider it a make up for my second to last row in Charlotte. haha
@ LittleTowhee - When I reloaded the original ticket screen that lists all the shows with presales, it said "Presale sold out" when I tried to reenter.
Sorry you guys are having trouble...I had no idea the presales went this fast...
Oh WOW! Congrats Coldufo! Those are *excellent* tickets! I accidentally refreshed one extra time, so that's probably why I missed out on section one tickets. If you don't mind my asking, how much were they? I'm just curious if all of the presale tickets were the same price, or if the price depended on the section.
But again, seriously, congrats on the awesome tickets!
Thanks! They were $42.50 each. I clicked the price drop down box, and that's the only price it had, so I assume they were all the same.

Ack... you're right. I just refreshed and I could get section 1, row F... but it's a single seat (none available together). That's ridiculously tempting, but I'd hate to not be sitting with my friends. *releases the ticket with a sigh*

I got 3 singles after 12:15 after being shut out from 12:00 on!!!! Sheesh...
Well, I'm satisfied with section 3. This ampitheatre is waaay smaller than Verizon here in Concord, so I don't think section 3 will be that bad. I might check tomorrow and Friday anyways just to see if I can get better seats, though.

Dang, it let me through to hit "buy tickets" but they were gone in the 4 seconds it took to fill out the word verification. What a bust, I'm trying tomorrow and Friday though!

I was able to get 2 seats... every other time it told me only singles were available so I had to click back. I might actually need the section 3's for some friends, but if I don't I'll be posting here with them and you can have first dibs.
Hmm...just tried again for the heck of it...couldn't get 2 together. I'm perfectly happy with 5th row, but of course closer would be fine with me... I may try one more time...then call it quits. The two other people in my group do need tickets, but they seemed content with buying them when the regular sale opens.
On a side note...Captcha is so annoying! I couldn't read what they gave me at all, so not only did it take me a while to even come up with a guess, but I got it wrong, and had to redo it...probably cost me a pair of tickets together.

Got ours...had everything ready to go and the site went down and I freaked...went back in a minute later even though it said sold out and just happened to look in my cart and the tickets were there again...so odd!!! Anyway, the tickets aren't as close as I'd like, but I got four tickets all together so I can't complain about that...we're going with friends and we're gonna have a blast!

No, it has nothing to do with the Avett Board. I'm not quite sure what you have to do to receive the Ticketmaster password. I think you might need to be on the Greensboro Coliseum's e-mail list. That's just a guess.

For the presale, is that how it always works - they release new tickets every ten minutes, regardless of the venue?
I have never heard that it was every ten minutes...just that sometimes seats gets re- released at random, for various different reasons...

I'm trying to be completely content with what I got. Section 2, row L, seats 3 & 4.
I'm ridiculously happy that I got anything. I tried this last week for Mumford in Raleigh and almost got no tickets even from the general sale.
Anyone else sitting close by?
