Hey everybody!
We need a bunch of dedicated fans to be part of our upcoming music video for "I and Love and You." We'll be shooting July 22nd (next Wednesday) in Charlotte, NC. If interested, sign up on the front page of Avett Nation and you will be sent an email confirmation with details and guidelines.

This just made my day!!! My 8 and 10 year old daughters are huge Avett fans...any idea if I can bring them along? They know all of the words to the 3 new songs as it is the only CD I will play in my car since I burned it!!!!

Im REALLY excited about this! still waiting on the email though they had like 335ish spots left when i signed up so tell your friends so we can fill it up
My sister and I just signed up! This made my day.
I just signed up for this and I am so excited! I had to blow off a hikin/camping trip at Appalachian State Univ. that cost $225, and it is definitely worth it. However, if you signed up does that guarantee that you will be able to participate, or does it just mean that they will consider letting you participate?

When I signed up it said "399 spots left" Now it says 162.
I think it would be wise to maybe take more than the 400 if that's the number you want. I'm pretty confident that a few people's enthusiasm will exceed their ability to actually make it.
As for myself....wouldn't miss it for all the gold in Paul Wall's mouth. I think I dig out my "BROOKLYN" tee for this.

Haven't received e-mail and I have 3 of us that wanna go. Need to make flight arrangements. Hope they message soon. I wonder if each individual has to sign up or if they assume more than one will be accompanying those who signed up. I probably spelled that wrong.

Steph was worried about gettin 400 people in a week. She is gonna have it in about 8 hours with the rate that these things are going. (128 left)
I've been unemployed for going on three months...started a new job today. I would totally have been there...such bad timing for a new job.

I'm already taking Friday off to drive down to Myrtle Beach for the shows there...how can I justify losing another day's pay? But how will I live with the fact that this video is being shot 30 minutes from my front door?! I am now an official mess.
Sarah615...I say you take Wed, Thurs and Fri off...make it an Avett weekend! Hey, you only live once and you cant take your money with you... If I could I would totally take the time off as I have Friday the 24 off also...

If anyone is interested in sharing a hotel room on Tuesday or Wednesday night, shoot me a pm through the board. I plan on pricelining something, but the more, the merrier! We also should go out for a post-shoot dinner!

oh. my. goodness.
asheville is only 2+ hours away from charlotte...i signed up and am hoping my boss will let me trade days at work so i can go...i'm trying the "be honest, tell her why you want to trade days and hope that she goes for it" route & keeping my fingers crossed. i should know by friday. if she crumbles my soul a little bit and says no, i will email the Nation so perhaps another fan can take my place.
i'm staying positive and hopeful.

thanks ME--oddly, that does make me feel better!!! No way I can justify the 14 hour roundtrip in the middle of the week since I'm taking vacation the next few days, but I'm happy to know you're representing us--I will definitely be there in spirit.
Though I'm sad that I can't go, I'm really happy to know that real fans from THIS board are going to be used in this shoot and supporting the boys. And happy FOR you all too!
