Sold two pieces of my art for the first time and am beyond happy. And what do I spend most of that money on? Avett Brothers tickets of course! The Detroit show. (Finding out about that show just made my day even better.)
The rest of the money was spent on art supplies. Having fresh new quality supplies just makes you want sit and work on something all day! It’s great.
The only downside here is that I won’t be getting a pay check from my...umm.."Real" job for a few more days. I guess I’m just gonna be a starving artist for a few days!
(That was a bad joke wasn’t it? Haha oh well.)
I will just mooch off my friends.
Let me re-word that… I will accept the kindness of my friends in the form of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Im overly excited about this right now and feel like celebrating. 
I mean Avett Brothers tickets AND selling art for the first time all in one day?

being that Im just a broke student I havent got a website or anything that offical to show you guys and the CD with my portfolio is back home.
the best Ive got on this computer are a few old unfinished sketches (that arent the best quality) and a scanned photogram/painting. in fact the only finished project that Ive got scanned on this computer is the photogram.
but I will post a few things I guess...
not my best and the quality of the scanner I used doesnt help!

This is an old starting sketch for a gift for a little cousin who would now hate me If I called them little. I wonder if the still have the completed thing.
But the the things that were bought (by a friend of my teacher) were an oil pastel and colored pencil drawing based on a photo I took and then a black and white photo.
the stuff I turn in looks a lot more put together and completed.
