um, if i were that lady bird i would've rejected him too...that's the scariest-looking bird ever! his head disappears and his eyes are glowing from the headless darkness. no thank you. i'll be hanging out with that nice plain sparrow over there....

KAY, i actually just read this really vividly detailed novel that painted a grim future that featured all these terrible designer animal hybrids (like a wolf and a dog, it was sweet like a dog, but just to lure you in so it could eat you), so i think it seeped into my avett subconscious.
lola- hippos are great and whatnot but I believe there are only a few different types of those.
I could be wrong though I'm no expert on the hippopotamus! It wouldn't be much variety. I would be throughly amused however, If I would log in here one day and find a silly sketches of a hippopotamus.
Marysstikal- what a strange book. Sounds graphic as well as frightening. I liked how you somehow warped this into something so elaborate incorporating tab. haha. Somehow we went from birds, to ridiculous, insane human hybrid animals from the future that will lure you in and eat you. Then lola starts talking hippos!!
I'm just sayin they will run out of birds. I'm only giving options.

Yeah I'm ready to get rid of this hummingbird. Has anyone surpassed that? Surely someone has.

2,000 points, so only 1,000 posts or 2,000 logins. Between the two and the bonus you sometimes get if you are the first to respond to a thread (but I have rarely seen lately, did they get rid of it?)
Also I believe more points are awarded for picture uploads or to be the first to comment on a photo as well. I'm going to earn them the honest way though. I've done nothing to get well over 1,000 points already, and I've been posting more lately than I did when the board switched over, so I'd say that in a few months I should get there on my own without double posting or making pointless posts for the sake of meaningless points.
If we could exchange these for stickers and autographed cds like on the Avett Nation site, you'd better believe I would be shamelessly posting short, meaningless posts all over the place.
