Cool cover of a great Tift Merritt tune...
Also nice to see Stephanie rocking out on the harmonica. And nice harmonies!

Jill Andrews solo stuff is good, but I liked her better in the Everybodyfields. Good stuff!

So if ever someone one says to you,
Life isn't fair, get used to it
Then you should say 'Well it might be
If folks like you would let it be"
Nooooo! Jill solo rocks it. I love Sam Quinn as well but every time I hear the everybodyfields, I just pine for the next Jill song.

Thanks for posting. The more and more I listen to Jill, the more and more convinced I am that she may be my favorite female voice of all time.

Nothing's good because nothing lasts. And all that comes, it comes here to pass.
I would voice my pain, but the change wouldn't last.
All that comes, it comes here to pass.
agreed uncch - jill is amazing. i've only seen her twice live but all you can do is just sit there in awe of that voice
*Sam too - he's in my top 3 right now and I have high hopes for his album. If it's as good as seeing him live is, then it's going to be amazing

Pretty sweet cover. I had no idea that Steph had those kinda pipes! I absolutely love Jill's voice--it's so haunting.

lildeadhead: that pen she uses to keep her setlists? it's a human-finger bone. dipped in the blood of the ones who yell out during "murder in the city". poetic, no?
that was lovely, thanks!
(Steph, you've been holding out on us. Love the harmonies!)

Man, I love Jill's voice. You sound great, Steph!
on another note, I went whitewhater rafting in the same boat as Tift once. it was a pre-wedding party--instead of a rehearsal dinner, we all went rafting ( it was for my ex's brother.) strange how this stuff happens.

Wish me luck, I know you think I'll need it.
For all the hardest roads we have to walk alone.
well, that's just priceless. Who knew Steph could sing and play harmonica. Love it.
