There with bells on..

Posted in the Avett Nation Gatherings forum that if anyone wants to grab a beer beforehand, a few of us are already planning on meeting up. All are welcome (including Jim and his friends).

So if ever someone one says to you,
Life isn't fair, get used to it
Then you should say 'Well it might be
If folks like you would let it be"

See y'all there... but it's the 26th...lest anyone be confused. Still Friday night though Smiling

I'm looking for some tips on where to crash (cheap-ish) for the night. Also, since I haven't really spent much time in that area, I probably will bop around a little on Saturday before I leave. If anyone wants to grab lunch or something (not coffee!), give a shout.

Should be a good time. I've bumped into Jim Avett a couple times now, but have yet to see him play. Looking forward to it.

I was wondering if someone had made a Roll Call thread yet. I'll go check in on the other thread, I guess.

Ooops...yeah. The 26th. That's what I meant..

there's only one thing here worth hoping for

I am not sure if they are selling copies before the release show Friday. I would bet that you could order them from Jim’s website by next week. Here is a photo of my copy along with the original mastered reference copy (note the name at the time was Jim Avett and Friends).

Guest musicians include
Jon Shain, Bob Crawford. Rebecca Stevens White, Joe Kuan, Ray Morton, Bonnie Avett Rini, and Amelia’s Mechanics- (Molly McGinn, Molly Miller and Kasey Horton)
Friday should be great fun.

People don't quit playing because they grow old, people grow old because they quit playing.

Just a reminder that a few of us are planning on meeting at Solstice Tavern before (around 6:30 - 7 p.m.) for drinks, etc. All are welcome to join! I'll be the guy with a large scruffy beard and a brown C.A.O hat.

See y'all there. I reckon I'll be wearin' my Nasty Nate T-shirt with the boombox on the front. It's made me rather easily identifiable in the past so....don't be a stranger. Oh, and I'm minus the shaggy hair and wooly beard now.

Have fun, Jim. THB was a close second for tonight. They always put on a helluva show.
