Ouch. Stow's the wrong corner of Ohio, or I'd be happy to pick with you.

Little good news... I just found a guitar repair man less that 10 minutes from me and he has repaired Joe Walsh's guitar... I am just afraid how much this is going to run me!!!!
Also, bumping this thread in hopes somebody new shows up in my area!!!!
I would, but in FL. I hope it dont cost you a fortune to get the Taylor fixed!
Good luck!

You're the back and forth sway of the hammock all day
Dfrench: You the original owner? If so give Taylor a call. Maybe they'll do you right.

I am the original Owner... maybe I will give them a call. I know how to fix it because I refinished Antique Pianos for almost 10 years. It is the same way you fix a crack in a soundboard that you didn't want to replace. Unfortunately my uncle moved to Maryland and took the entire shop with him. No one should ever attempt to repair something like that without the proper tools and set up... so I guess I am going to have to reach DEEP into my pocket!
I don't understand why all the sudden it would crack like it did... this guitar has been everywhere... back and forth to England a dozen times... it even made a trip to China with me when I had to work their for an extended stay. Go figure... I guess my guitar has rambling blues and is trying to tell me something!
