love like the movies - best song?

there's nothing better than watching the avett brothers perform "love like the movies". hands down, best song. sure, "i and love and you" is good, but it's sort of overplayed at this point. same goes for "kick drum heart". i've gotten together with a group of people who are passionate music fans and ranked what we consider to be the best songs by an artist or a band.
check out my friend brooke's rankings for the avett brothers
http://gorankem.com/rankings/5962
and check how the stack up against the overall rankings

the current rankings aren't perfect, because clearly, the better known songs are holding on to the top spot, so i'm hoping you guys can help us out since you are familiar with the avett brothers' full catalog.
hopefully you'll check it out and let us know what you think!

Not the best but close. A Carolina Jubilee is still my favorite album but Me & God tops LLTM in my book. I once saw them play that in a moonlit field with many cameras rolling Smiling

Is it weird that three days after this you heard it again? What a great moment! Here's my lousy video of it.

Moooooooooonlit fieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeld!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's all so subjective but I don't think much of the list. Heck, the two songs that tied for #1 here on the Avett Board's recent play off are not even in brooke's top 20.

Missing the Gleam and Second Gleam. My top twenty would include Murder in the City, when I drink, Bella Donna, and If its the beaches for sure.

absolutely ridiculous post.. Gift For Melody Anne is number 89. Get Real, Thats one of my FAVS.

Without the Gleam records on there, it's a pretty useless list. I'm with Undfanz -- at least half my favorite Avett songs are on Gleam and Gleam II (Sanguine, When I Drink, Murder, Love Like the Wheels, If It's the Beaches, . . .).

souls like the wheels you mean?
