"I need HEEEEELP!
But I'm on it. I'm on it."
I am supposed to go to Keller Williams tonight but may have to bail due to illness. However, I definitely plan on recovering in time for Carolina Chocolate Drops on Sunday then I have Langhorne 3/31 and Low Anthem on 4/14.
But Sunday still wins.

OoOOoooo Love me some Keller. Sad if you can't go.
Hey Heids, the CCD also have these dates on their calendar. (incase you didn't already know)
APR 30 MOUNT HOPE HOUSING COMMUNITY BRONX, NY
MAY 1 SCHOMBURG CENTER FOR RESEARCH HARLEM, NY

Sunday - great, great reply and you can add me to that list as well ( well not performing, but in attendance)... you can also add me to see Greensky Bluegrass, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Emmitt-Nershi Band, all here in Charlotte for the month of april....
not too bad of an April, if you ask me.... and catching The Wood Brothers, Larry Keel and the natural bridge, and Amos Lee to round out my March....
gloating? nah - just praising the city of Charlotte for getting some great music

Well Locust, Mount Pleasant, Concord.... LETS GOOO!
I know, I really want to go to KW, but I'm just not sure if it'll happen. I actually need to see if I can unload those tickets.
Thanks for the heads up Drew - I actually saw those add'l dates and may check them out then too!

You live my dream Sunday, you live my dream! Someday when all my kids are grown...ah, sweet fantasy! We only manage about 1 show a month and for April it will be Langhorne in Lexington, then May is The Avetts in Columbus. We were going to go to the Mountain Jam in June but things have changed and I'm proud to announce we'll be hitting up Bonnaroo this year!
mamakate! lemme jump in the trunk for bonnaroo! I promise I will be quiet! haha

David is cheating. If you see the full sets of half those bands Mao will pay for your ticket.
Just found out when Over the Rhine makes their annual visit to Canal Street in Dayton on April 10, Lucy Roche Wainwright is opening. I'm there.

Rejoice always, Mark
I did not say I would see all of them, only that I had tickets for them
You would be surprised at how many I will check out over the eight days of Shakori and Merlefest.

Bobz, Over the Rhine = one of my favorites. A very good friend of mine got the privilege of taking a week-long intensive songwriting workshop from Karin & Linford. Such great people, and of course...extremely talented. Enjoy the show...I'm jealous! It's been waaaay too long since I last saw them.
Although my wife is from Cinci, and they play at Canal Street a couple of night every year, this will be our first show. We went to a show about four years back only to find these shows sell out every time. They are really too big for Canal Street but obviously have respect for the owner.
Lucy Wainwright Roche opening sealed the deal for us. Another artist we've wanted to catch for a while.
