amazing show....and our first. the location was good and the acoustics were good, as well.

we arrived a couple hours early and had a good time just hanging out in the lobby. purchased a couple of posters and a sticker. our seats were located in the middle about 1/3 back.

low anthem....bowed a saw, impressed us enough to purchase their cd at the show. their merchandise guy was a pleasure to speak with. a unique band.

avett brothers....wow, it was good to jam the evening and hear songs that i have not heard yet. i do not own all of their cds, currently. the songs we were not familiar with, well... we will be getting them.

beginning to end.........amazing show, high energy, and i did not need to wear hearing protection. 10,000 words, head full of doubt, two of my favorites from the album.

hope to see them again. i know they would be appreciated in kansas.

one last thing to add, i have been to numerous pearl jam shows and the avett bros show rivals any pj show i have been too.

did they happen to be selling Darling cd's

I hope they continue if so

we purchased , oh my God charlie darwin, it was the cd recommended by the merchandise guy. i do not remember the title of the other cd. it did have a large black bird on the cover.

I don't remember seeing any of the Darling CD's at the table. Agreed on the Low Anthem Merch guy... he's TLA's tour manager and I enjoyed my conversation with him.
@ ajedigecko, not knowing what Avett CD's you currently have, but they did play a few selection's off Mignonette on Wed night, I would recommend getting that in your rotation. It's my Desert Island Avett CD and based on other threads, several board members would agree.
