Wow, The Avett Brothers are so amazing. Have you ever heard of a band that is BETTER live than in a recording studio. Seth and Scott are some seriously talented singers. I will remember this concert for the rest of my life! It was so great!!!! I really don't even have words to decribe how amazing it was, all I know is that I will be back to see them as often as possible. They are the best band that there is. They know what MUSIC is!!! I AM SO PROUD TO BE ONE OF THEIR FANS!

PS. Their opening act "David Mayfield Parade" is also great. Very entertaining and VERY talented as well.

Friday and Saturday shows in Milwaukee were awesome! Saturday's show got off to a little bit of a rocky start when the PA went out in the middle of their opening song! Since the band wears ear buds they didn't know anything was wrong until after their second song! I've never seen that happen before. It was a strange sight to SEE so much energy being put forth on stage but not being able to HEAR it! I think everyone just felt bad for the band. It was refreshing to see how the crowd handled it though. No booing, no impatient chanting or anything of the sort. Which is impressive considering the delay was at least 20 min! We all just waited and cheered like hell when they got back on stage. Gotta love the midwest, people are so polite! Anyway...amazing shows, amazing fans, amazing band. I can't wait until they return.

i heard booing, which made me cringe, because i knew they were doing everything they could to fix things.
There was booing... and a girl behind me was yelling/complaining/swearing about it. I said that was equivalent to honking your horn in a traffic jam. I also looked at her and said "that's not helpful" ... haha. I felt like her mother.
BUT... most of the audience was very polite and supportive.
There are more reviews and conversation about Saturday's show under "setlists". What a night.
