I'll be going to the Savannah show! What about everyone else?
I've heard some difficult things about buying presale tickets. Can anyone tell me how it works or any tips they have to make the process easier?

kind of dissapointed that there are so few dates in NC and the South, in general.... I thought for sure we'd get a couple more than we have and there isn't any type of side note of "more to come..."
i know they are growing, etc. etc.... but still thought we'd get a couple more than we are in 2010...

Would love to try Pittsburgh, try and convince my mom to go, I think I could get her into TAB. But thats a bit of travelling for me, already planning on Bonnaroo and Columbus
Just realized the Pittsburgh date is a Sunday... might have to take the following Monday off.
Northeast and Midwest are getting a lot of love lately. Virginia on down should be due by mid-summer into fall.
I will definitely be going to Savannah! I caught them in Augusta last year for my first Avett show then went to the New Years Day show in ATL and pretty much everytime I see them I can't wait to see them again!

Vajedd - i agree... i'll be a bit disappointed if we don't get our "big" Summer show... we've been fortunate enough to have one big one each of the past few years and would love another two-night run, like HOB in Myrtle Beach last year.... guess we'll see

Besides the $150 Chillicothe tickets, they are not doing anything around me so far. Normally I have to drive 2-3 hours to a show, but the closest one now is 8 hours!!! drag

The email I got closed with "Stay tuned for more updates coming soon, The Avett Brothers", so maybe the south and Pacific NW will get some dates. I'm still hopeful.

I'll definitely be at the jersey show. Going to try and swing the Pa one also. Although I wish they would come to DC or even Dewey beach again that would be just great!
I'm praying for a Dewey Beach show this summer, but really don't think it's gonna happen. They may just have outgrown the Bottle and Cork. Of course I thought that last year...

You know, I don't think they even sold out Dewey last year--it's around 700 capacity and I can't believe they didn't--granted, it was a Tuesday and not the easiest place to get to, but still! I would love another show there, too.)

I'll be catching Savannah and at the Ann Arbor show LiveNation was passing handouts saying "Avett Brothers coming to Detroit this summer!" which I can't find anything about, so hopefully they have a few more dates to pull out of their sleeve. Just don't understand why this dedicated fanbase has to hear about things sideways and play the speculation game so much...unless, we actually get off on such things, of course
I'm thinking about going to Savannah, I want presale...but I'll be in class. Hopefully someone can snatch me a ticket and I can send them the monies

Praying for them to hit NC (other than merlefest) again, but they seem very very busy and need to spend time with their families, so I understand why.. but maybe they're gonna surprise us? Yes? lol :3

Thinking about NJ (mom?), but definitely Lewiston, NY and hopefully Toronto (I WILL get a passport this time). Was also thinking about Columbus but alas, no pre-sale e-mail for this New Yorker.
