Mumford & Sons (live)

Mumford & Sons (live)

Has anyone ever seen them live? My tickets came yesterday for May 25th show in Minneapolis at Varsity Theater. For me, it's tough to justify driving 4 hours on a week night to see these guys (even though I absolutely love their music). I'm going to have to take a portion of 2 days off of work, which sucks.

If someone tells me they are as good as TAB live, I'll go. Otherwise, I don't want to be let down. We're spoiled with the TAB shows... I haven't been to another band's concert in a year because of it, this would be the first one.

they are good, but not as good as TAB. I'd go just for the experience! Have fun

I like Mumford & Sons. I've never had the chance to see them but I like them for the most part. Their record is a little so/so, I think it could have been paced a little better and Im sure they probably had a few other (better) numbers they could have recorded. Even though they're from my shores they're just to much of a....RIP-OFF of TAB. Everytime I hear them on the radio I'm happy that the country/folk sound is getting bigger (mainly because I play my own music of the same genre) but I cant help but think it should be The Avetts in their place.

live videos on line look great. I have tickets for DC - and am in fact hauling myself, wife, brother and 2 nieces up to that show (5 hours on a weekday night). Laughing out loud

Marley + Ric have tix for the Ann Arbor show and are trying to recruit me - i dunno.... i like their stuff, can't justify driving 3hrs on a weeknight to see em though Nate - an hour maybe - especially with Langhorne coming to Detroit (3hrs on a Tuesday) and Holy Ghost Tent Revival (Kalamazoo - 1hr on a Thurs) coming through next month....
