I bet there would be thousands of Avett fans willing to spend major
money on a double cd of nothing but studio quality covers done by The
Avetts. They do them all so well. It could even be some type of benefit
cd or something like that. It would be awesome. I love hearing them
doing all these great covers.

I agree. The way they cover the likes of Tom T Hall, John Prine, etc. is amazing. I'd say they make 'em a little better. But I'm biased so what do I know, ha. The crackerfarm videos on YouTube are really great to watch, especially the covers they do.
I've spent HOURS watching those Crackerfarm vids. an album with covers would be cool!
Meh. I'd rather hear original songs. A cover album would only get in the way of putting out new material. The occasional cover is cool, but they write so much; it's a shame we only get to hear what we do.
yea, let the cover albums be their retirement/pension plan
I still recommend watching the Crackerfarm covers/originals for kicks
I love the cover videos but for the most part I've been able to get mp3s of them through youtube and have kind of built my own collection, at this point anything other than a new full length or a gleam type deal as there next release would kinda be a let down, i'm dying for new material!
