New song played right after midnight NYE Asheville

Did anyone remember hearing the new song the guys played right after the stroke of midnight last night? I believe it is a new song. My friend asked his GF to marry him right after the countdown at midnight, and then that song came on. It fit the moment perfect. Any info would be much apperciated.

Check YouTube. There's a video of that song there after the countdown. Folks there are suggesting that it was a cover, though there is some argument over who originally sang it.

This was not the song I was expecting at 12:01 but it was fitting in my opinion. It was totally unfamiliar to me, but I thought the lyrics fit the evening. Very pop-py, clearly not an Avett original, still not a bad choice...
I was hoping for Glistening Shine or Never Been Alive to open the new year. Smiling
But I suppose I'll have to start my own band if I wanna start dictating setlists, right? Cool

What a fantastic song, an obvious fit for the brothers' sound, would love to see an official release of that show with this song.
