They didn't play Dream Appointed. But I can't think of what they played in that spot right now.
surprised they didn't play "the lowering".
I *had* to take a bathroom break in the Dream Appointed spot so I was really unsure about that. Hopefully someone knows what it was so I can correct it.
Patrick - yeah, I kind of thought we might get that one. But there is a Greenville NC also, maybe that's the one in the song?
I believe that Dream Appointed was a faster tempo version of Incomplete and Insecure.
Thanks - I updated the list. I think they did that in Milwaukee also, with Seth starting it off. Sorry I missed it tonight.
Lynn your correct. The Lowering is about an event in Greenville NC.
Single girl, Never Been Alive, new songs? What is SFOS? And whats
Hospital grown? Show looked fun! Thanks!
Single girl is new.
Never been alive has been around a while.
SFOS=slight figure of speech.
Hospital gown is what she was wearing in wanted man.
wow, huge set. did they play that many songs last year?
"Married girl, single girl" is and old old Carter Family Song, not a New one. Unless you mean new to the Avetts performing.
The show was truly amazing! Just brilliant. This was our second NYE show (we went to both nights last year). Amazing set and amazing energy.
I brought my new camera but sadly it does not seem to hold up to the quality of my old camera in low light.

I have a few more I'll get up later on.
. Needless to say, this year has already hit some extremes for us.
My wife and I returned from the up that this show produced to have to put our oldest dog to sleep
pixelnated - Thank you for the links, can't wait to check them out when I get caught up with things back here at home. I'm so sorry to hear about your dog, that is so hard.
Thanks ImLYnn. Really stinks losing such a big part of the family.

I have almost all of "talk on indolence" too but the balloons and flash made it stay out of focus and it is mostly a blur that gets cut off near the end. Maybe I'll post that later too though
Thank you so much for the videos, especially the of the slower/quiet songs. I was sitting in front of some ridiculously chatty people who talked through every single song. Despite that, the show was beyond amazing. Thanks for helping us all relive a great night!
Here's some pictures from the concert...

Your photos are great. That first one of Scott is an amazing shot.
great photos! has this been discussed already, or has that background been in use before or is it new? is it one of Scott's prints? Looks like the same pattern as on the drum set and banjo. I just can't recall if I'd seen it before.
Great vids and photos. Thanks for sharing.
Jason
I think it's a new background. I noticed it in a photo a friend texted me when the house lights were up. It has those beautiful roses like Scott's banjo. Can't wait to see it in person.
This was a fantastic set, and the most amazing way to celebrate the new year. Those boys were really on their game that night.
I thought I'd share some of my photos from the show (and from the Chattanooga show) with all of you...

@IwhofollowtheGleam - it was a huge set! I looked at last year's NYE show set list and they played 23 songs with the encore. This year they played 29 songs!!
I love that someone has already done the hard work of putting together a video playlist, searching out the best quality for each song!
This was my first TAB show and I've already warned my husband that our trip back to the US will be planned around any possible TAB shows in the late spring/summer, regardless of their locations!
^Now that's what I like to hear. I makes me feel much better about my TAB obsession. Now when friends say "you're driving how far to see a concert?", I can say "that's nothing, there's these people from UK who....."
