I couldn't find a very relevant topic to post this under so I thought I'd start a new one...and a race for...what is it, 25 points?
The Low Anthem with The Avett Brothers for the next month is the envy of me and the rest of the country. Say what you will about past openers, but a show with TLA is huge. If any group deserves the huge-i-osity of the boys, it is the Anthem. This is a super-concert and I'm happy those in the north get to experience it!

Ohio...the Heart of it All
The Low Anthem is a killer band. "Oh My God, Charlie Darwin" was my favorite album that came out last year. They'll be in my general area in early March. Can't wait.

Heard TLA open for Langhorne last fall. Without a doubt, Favorite New (for me) Band of 2009. Nate may be speaking blasphemy on this board, but I know exactly what he means. Don't expect a screaming, banging on instruments show - although they do have some high energy songs. Do expect lyrics and melodies that rival ANYTHING on my current play list. My only fear is a poor sound system or sound man.

Rejoice always, Mark
Mark, when you say "ANYTHING", do you really mean on your current playlist? Even of TAB? I think my heart just stopped.
