Im going to Bloomington show and wanted an idea of when they start.

I don't know any details for that show, but if the doors open at 7 and the opener goes on around 8, the Avett's should go on around 9 or 9:30. I only use past experience to estimate those times. You might want to contact the venue to see when doors open and adjust the times accordingly.

David Mayfield Parade is opening in Bloomington. I wouldn't miss them if you can get there in time. Great band.

The NYE show opener has not been announced...yet.

I know for a fact it will not be David Mayfield Parade or Langhorne Slim, and Grace Potter usually plays a set venue in VT for NYE, so she's probably out of the running, as well. JLM doesn't have anything listed on her calendar for that night, yet. (sigh)

Who else has toured with them this year that may be in the running?

David Wax Museum
Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside
John Oates
The Low Anthem
Samantha Crain
Band Of Horses
Truth & Salvage Co.

All of these listed here appear to be open for NYE....

Thank you CoffeeBomb. We are still undecided about coming down this year. Was thinking the opener(s) would pesuade us one way or the other. Last year was phenonenal. It was nice meeting you in line. If we don't go.....Happy New Year!
