Anyone have any issues this time? Mine was smooth as silk and I was checked out in less than 3 minutes.

happily, i didn't have problems (even WITH captcha!) getting savannah tix for me & my lady, but dang those sold out in what seemed like less than 3 minutes! hope the friday sell is good for us all as well...i have a dear friend & her husband who weren't able to get savannah tix today. fingers crossed

I didn't get pit, but Orch center row G. I think that's still pretty close to the stage. I've never been to the theatre, so I don't know for sure. Here's to hoping we get upgraded to front row, huh?
Yeah, sold out in less then 5 minutes. I was luck to get seats in row C, which is 20 rows closer then when I saw them at the Fox in Atlanta. So looking forward to the show.
They were selling pit seats. Not sure how many though.
WOW! Sold out already? Honestly, from 11:57 until it came open I clicked refresh every few seconds and once my clock said 11:59 I just kept hitting it until the link showed up. Luckily I logged in ahead of time with my account so I didn't have to waste 15-20 seconds on that! I have row F 9-10 but in Charleston I had similar seats and got front row in the PIT! Not sure how Savannah does their pit. To those who didn't get presale tix, I feel your pain, but there should be plenty of good seats on Friday. Maybe it is time to open some more seats up on these presales?

I GOT THEM! i was actually sweating and nervous as all hell BUT i did it. i wish i was orch center row b...but sundayrehab i will be behind you and too the right
i will be coming up from South Florida so if you guys have suggestions on where to stay i would love the help.

Nope, didn't get through. I was on at noon straight up, couldn't get the tickets. By 12:03 PM, the link didn't work.
Very sad and frustrating that the link would not work and now presale is sold out...bummed.

this is so frustrating, same thing happened to me last time with pre-sale tickets, login/password didn't work. how many tickets do they sell in pre-sale anyway? is it only the 30 that's mentioned in the message sent? oh well, i will cross my fingers that friday will bring better things are way. we've seen TAB in orlando, tallahassee, the new year's show in atlanta (my hometown!), and now hopefully savannah.
i'm not computer saavy(sp?), so my computer security threw up a warning box and apparently i answered wrong and didn't allow items that were not secure. the unsecured item was the captcha words. which...doesn't that seem weird?? the one thing that is supposed to be a security measure, is the one thing that my computer felt was unsecure. i just don't get it. so anyhoo, i missed out by the time i was able to go back and get the captcha. grrrrr.

That happens a lot with these pre-sales. For anyone who didn't get theirs, I suggest checking back every few minutes or so and you'll likely find ones people have returned or timed out on.

This must be NYE pre-sale all over again. The site crashed, the pre-sale was sold out one minute, then I refreshed and tickets to the Savannah show were available. Ridiculous. It's clear that AA's server can't handle the traffic. The theatre seat 2560, so about 250 pre-sale tickets were sold. 250 tickets in THREE minutes? Really?

i can kind of see how 250 tix would sell out in 3 minutes...all it would take is for 125 fans to buy 2 tickets each (i'm trying to be optimistic & not consider scalpers in the mix), and there's easily that many of us who were trying to get savannah tix today. i'd like to see maybe 500 tix available for pre-sales so more of us could get tix & not be sweating it for the general sale time. admittedly, i have NO IDEA how ticket sales work, the way(s) in which the number of tix offered is figured, etc., etc. but i feel fairly confident that a larger number of presale tix would better accommodate the number of folks seeking tix here on the boards, for example, and it might feel more...i dunno, fair or something. just a thought.

call me a liar, i went back on, selected two tickets, then it asked me to enter the 2 word verification...but no boxes for them? so no way to put in super secret squirrel access
that's too much bulls***. these presales somehow always get screwed up. it feels like "here's our way of verifying you're not a computer program trying to buy tickets...but we're not actually (captchually?) gonna let you do that...oh and yeah, by the wayyyy...you're gonna need to come in and work on saturdays and sundays...yeah." SUCKS.

Ellie, I think that one issue here is that the Avetts have a HUGE following in the Carolinas and Georgia. What would have helped this would have been a couple more dates down here that would have spread us out a little. Honestly, I try to hit one show each year (budget is tight). I live in the lowcountry of SC so if they had announced a Charleston or Columbia date I would have hit that instead. If they had a Jacksonville, FL, Wilmington, NC, or something like that, it would have probably helped as well. Just saying, because the northern shows still have presale tix.
I just got 2 more at 12:51 so if you keep hitting refresh there is a good chance some tickets will become available! Keep trying folks!

Ok listen everone...persistence. I kept trying and it shows presale sold out, however I kept hitting refresh over and over for about 15 minutes and eventually tickets became available. Not sure if it is because they could not get credit card transactions to go through but if you can't get in you may want to keep trying!! Good Luck!

Wait, orchestra and Pitt tickets are different? I hate AA
If I were to try and get pit seats, I would take them and sell my ORCH seats.
The pit tickets are usually 3 or 4 rows in front of row A in the Orchestra. They may be labeled AAA BBB CCC

AK I don't think those are pit. I think you are in Orchestra Right Center, row P. Otherwise I am in Pit row F, and I doubt they have that many pit rows. Normally you might have 5-6 rows in the pit.
I just noticed I got the pit thing wrong.
I don't know that I'm going to spend $1200 to fly down for seats 21+ rows back. I'll probably sell them (at face value).

i didn't know they upgraded...i thought that was only for reserved seating...and all i saw on the drop down box was general...if there was reserved seating and i missed it i will ... do nothing but i will be sad.

For the reserved seated shows, a handful of presale buyers will be upgraded to the front row! If you are one of these lucky buyers, you will receive an email letting you know that your tickets have been upgraded within a week after your purchase.
Savannah was all reserved.
