Pretty excited about this. I remember someone talking about a show where Bob was not the bass player. Does anyone know if he'll be at this one, for sure? I'm guessing yes, because it's the CD release and all, but I'd still like to find out. Smiling

I remember Mr. Rehab saying that he was going to be there.... either way, it'll be a good time

this kind of show will probably take ole Bobby back a few years... he probably hasn't played a place this small since 2004 or 2005

Yeah, "they" need to fix the link thing and the search feature! Hire me! I work cheap and I am here alot anyway Smiling

Thanks bobzimmerman for the link! That is incredible and what a story tied to the video. i hadn't heard anything from the CD, but my husband knows David and we've seen him play, so I knew it had the potential to be great!

Hmm, I have the 26th off. I should probably go to that show.

David Childers is a great guy. I did a cover of his song "Burning In Hell" and he said he loved it. That made my day, for sure.
It's on my myspace page.

I'm so stoked for the 26th.

Thanks for the article, lovewritesaletter... Liked both videos, bobz. On the one on their website, I imagined my great great grandparents' house in the beginning part there along the Allegheny River. Who is the guy with the crazy long red beard - he could be my long lost cousin! Bob looks like he is having fun. Keeping them on my radar. Wishing I lived in NC...

May you never be embarrassed to sing.

Can't wait to see them!! I hear Bob IS going to be there. I saw them last month at Thirsty Beaver and they were great!

Wha??????? They were at The Thirsty Beaver?????? Man o man....I need to shoot more pool!

for those of you still going tonight... A trusted source said they are going on right around 9:30, but they are having a Country DJ on the 1 and 2's to start at 9....

yep - i actually am heading up to Concord for a bit and hitting up K&W... then heading straight to Charlotte and should be there around 9:00 / 9:30.... look out for the dude in the black adidas gazelles.... and if i see somebody staring at the ground all night, I'll assume you're looking for me - haha

I would say look out for the white dude, drinking PBR deuce-fours, but I'm pretty sure that'll be 90% of the folks there....

Life is too short to drink PBRs.
Hope to meet you tonight. We will be hitting Charlotte early to be sure we get tickets.

Man, do you really think it might sell out???? I mean free soup and all but...now I am sceered!

i gotta say - i did not see a sell out coming, at all ... I was extremely impressed with the turnout... granted there were lots of family / friends there, I was happy to see a sell-out show in Charlotte on a week night, b/c that rarely ever happens.... the band definitely exceeded my expectations and i was happy to make it in... I had a flat tire and by the time I could get to Snug Harbor it was sold out, so i was glad they finally let me in.... I had really only seen the videos for Angola and Some Place Along the River, but their sound is definitely more diverse than those two songs show.... If you haven't bought the CD just yet, I highly suggest you do....

Sunday and LoveWritesaletter - it was a pleasure to meet you, both, and I hope we get to meet up again soon....

I was bummed out that it sold out. Glad for them, though.
My sister and her friends got there about 9:15 and it had just sold out. I was almost there when she called and told me.
They're playing Elwood's Music Hall in Charlotte on 2/26 andyou can bet your ass I'll be at that one. Early.

i may had been standing beside them... two girls walked up right behind me and stood for a bit , then left.... they let us all in about 5 minutes after they left.... sorry man, but yeah, you definitely got next time

i agree that it was an impressive performance. bob looked like he was having a really good time, too. Eye-wink i thought it was cool how he was giving out cds to people who couldn't get in. or at least that's what i heard and presume was the case since he ran in at the last minute to play.

Thanks for your support.

That was a fun show for sure. Got to see Sundayrehab snapping a ton of photos.

I'll most likely go to the show at Elwood's in Feb but Bob won't be at that one. Avetts are playing in Ithica I think. Love the cd as well.
