Paleface in Orlando Tonight. Worth it?

PF is playing @ Will's Pub in Winter Park, Orlando tonight. I know he's on at least a couple songs from older TAB albums (4TG?); has anyone seen him live and can recommend them as a must see?
Also, I put a link in the Gatherings section if anyone wants to meetup for the show tonight:

Absolutely 100% worth it. I have seen PF & Mo probably about....I don't know, 3 times? They always put on a really great show. Don't be surprised if the rest of the crowd isn't that into it just b/c not many people have heard their stuff -- but if you've listened to their music and like it, you would definitely enjoy seeing them live.
ETA: Listen to his solo stuff if you haven't in order to make your decision. Yes, he's on 4TG - he wrote a good portion of it - but his releases w/ Mo are what he performs live (although I have heard him do Dancing Daze a few times - but that was on one of his solo albums too)

Thanks Heids. It would be a loss not to see Dancing Daze live.
It's your loss if you miss these guys. And they are great people. Always happy to talk to fans and grateful for the support.

Totally worth it.
Was PF credited on 4TG? Which songs did he write/co-write?
Hmmmm....I don't know exactly but I do know he wrote or co-wrote Dancing Daze. And maybe Colorshow? Someone else would have to answer that but I do know his photograph appears in the liner notes, and the pen on the cover has a "PF" on it, representing his help in writing the album.

Well, the doors open at 9, bands (LAURIS VIDAL, Paleface, Andy Zipf, Damion Suomi & Minor Prophets, Michael Claytor) won't start until 9:30; I guess PF is headliner, so they wouldn't go on until, geeze, 11? dang, gonna be a late show for a Wed, it's a toss up. Thanks for all the info...
Absolutely worth it!! They're coming to Gainesville tomorrow night and I can't wait!!

Dancing Daze is an older PF song that TAB re-recorded with him for 4TG.

I'm dreaming for a living - I've got no time for work.
Any of these other bands any good:
LAURIS VIDAL (headliner looks like)
Andy Zipf
Damion Suomi & Minor Prophets
Michael Claytor.
Danka all...
I've only seen Paleface and Mo live once, and I agree with everyone else...it's totally worth it. They put on a great, entertaining show.

I know this is not the show review board, but just a couple notes from last night: PF and Mo were great; he had some technical issues with the guitar, but they worked it out. They played a new song called Rock n Roll, and I took a good high def vid, will throw up on the tube later. PF only played a few songs or so, and did not play Dancin Daze
. I did talk to he and Mo after their set and we discussed 4TG, The Robbinsville Sessions. He mentioned he wrote about 4 or 5 of the songs, and that there were 30 songs recorded during the sessions. Only one of his made it on the album, DD of course. Having recorded with bands before, I asked him how they got all that recording done in only 10 days? I couldn't believe the quality of the recordings in terms of musicianship. HIs response was: "Those guys (The Avett Bros) are really good; they're just that good"
The other acts were great; I was surprised how much I liked Damion Suomi & Minor Prophets and Andy Zipf with Lauris Vidal. Damion had like 7 dudes up there with him, and some "crazy" drummer guy. Andy played acoustic guitar and vocals while Lauris Vidal played slide guitar on his lap, and played a cigar box 4 string guitar; it was amazing; Andy and Lauris play at a very high level of musical quality I must say; I was thoroughly impressed. PF is all about the energy obviously, and Mo plays the drums hard and consistent; she was extremely pleasant to talk to in person as well
. Overall, I’m def glad I went. Got two nice HD vids of PF and Mo, plus the other guys, and PF and Mo signed a CD I bought; they take plastic, lol...
So glad you enjoyed it! Now that I think of it, everytime I've seen them, they've done short sets. Sorry they didn't get to Dancin Daze - have to say the best rendition of that I have seen PF & Mo do was in the living room of two good friends as their 4 (?) year old son sang along.
I'm glad you got to chat with them. PF is a bit more quiet, but Mo is super-sweet and they really appreciate their fans. Good little bit of insight re: 4TG, thanks for sharing!

Here is a video of Paleface with the Brothers doing one of his Just About To Burn songs "Was Oblivious".
