No, not out my way that I know of, but I do hear that radio spins have gone up drastically in the last few weeks. Hopefully there will be a lot of college radio stations that will play the album too...

As sad as it is, Charlotte radio doesn't even give the hometown boys any love. Charlotte radio is your same terrible, run of the mill, pop factory. It is terrible. There is no college radio and only 1 indie station, which is dedicated to classic rock.

simms, you need to tune into 88.7!!! They are based out of Spindale, NC but I'm in Statesville and usually I can pick it up in most of Charlotte and the surrounding area. They're also working on getting two brand new translators up in Charlotte. Check out their website... www.wncw.org
They are positively the best radio station in the world and they give TONS of Avett love!!! They are the station that introduced me to the Avetts oh so many years ago.
And that indie station you speak of, 95.7, has been playing the Avetts according to some folks on here.

they are coming on sirius sat. radio a ton now.
wsge 91.7 based in Gaston College has been playing the Avetts for a number of years. Yesterday morning while listening I was treated to the Sentimental Version of "Swept Away" They are usually played during "The Blend" programming. Just depends on when you tune in you may get indie music, blues, beach music, or guest speakers.
i didn't hear them on the radio...i heard i & love & you playing in Best Buy the other day when i went to buy a new cell.
+1 for WNCW.
I live in Greensboro now and miss the Matt and Ramona show on 107.9. No Avett love there, but they are hilarious.

Well I know I’m like a broken record but I can’t help it. It is a safe bet that WQFS 90.9 here in Greensboro has played more Avett Brothers than ANY other radio station in the world. We have most of the CDs in the library and my show can pull from every recording they have ever released as The Avett Brothers, Nemo, Margo, Oh What A Nightmare, all three Darling releases as well as over a thousand live tracks. The station also loves the everybodyfields and Holy Ghost Tent Revival. This Sunday 10 to noon you can hear the new unreleased Holy Ghost CD, some Avett surprises as well as win a free ticket to the Bristol Rhythm and Roots Festival. To quote Katie “I’m just saying.”
And no, we are still not on the net, but we are getting closer.

I look forward to the day that WQFS 90.9 is streaming. I hope all is well
Oh man, it would be phenomenal to be able to listen to that station here in WV Sunday. Please keep us posted.
+2 for WNCW...one of the best member supported stations in the country. the Brothers are always well represented on there...and have played live in the station's "Studio B" on a couple of occasions.
and Boots, another great thing about 'NCW is that it's based out of RUL-A-FORD COUNTY.
I have heard The Avett Brothers on KEXP here in Seattle about a dozen times so far. Not yet I and Love and You, but it is always so exciting when they come on here at work. I turn it up and "force it on" everyone around.
Sunday, let us know when WQFS is on the net. That's how I listen here at work.
Edited to say as soon as I posted this they started playing "Will You Return?" Instant gratification!

All one foot in and one foot back
But it don't pay, to live like that
So I cut the ties and I jumped the tracks
For never to return
I love WQFS but it can go from hard core rap to death metal, to blue grass, to reggae all in a day’s time. You need to know when to listen. Sunday is a good day all day.
Sundayrehab I love the commercials Scott made for your show. You need to post them up somewhere, funny stuff. Every time I hear the one where he messes up the days it cracks me up.
I agree with with gregxd1. To be able to listen to WQFS online from over here in eastern NC would be great. I am grateful that WNCW streams online. They too are a top-notch station.
I don't think we can get it here in Asheville. I wish! I would tune in every Sunday from my pod at work!
BONUS! I got Dave to quote me!
SUH-WEET!!
ps- I have heard Will You Return and Shame on XM, on Outlaw Country and The Loft respectively. TAB get play on 89.5 WETS (based out of East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN) b/c I bother the DJ a lot. He's a friend's step-dad. I think he'd play them anyways, but he humors me, too.
AND, whomever started this thread: NOW I HAVE A REGINA SONG IN MY HEAD. And it's the one that never leaves.
...b/c the DJ was a-slee-eeep....
Katie! I was singing the exact same song. "you hear november rain, you listen to it twice..."

89.3 The Current/MN public radio has been playing I&L&Y a lot, judging from the number of texts I've gotten from friends along the lines of "just heard that single from that band you're obsessed with."
They'll be obsessed too, soon enough.
Haven't heard any in NY except at my college station.
I'm going to do a show this semester though, I will be definitely be playing of of TAB!
Lots of play on WYEP in Pittsburgh PA. Heard PGF San Diego and I and Love and You

Heard Murder in the City today on 100.7 in Birmingham! They were also giving away tickets to the show coming up in Tuscaloosa

I know that won't buy anything
But I would steal you anything
WTMD and WRNR in Maryland have both played I&L&Y. Also heard I&L&Y on Comcast's Adult Alternative music channel last night.
(WTMD has played other Avett goodness in the past -- I specifically remember Shame and Salvation Song.)
