So, I have a google Alert for "The Avett Brothers" and this popped up today
"The Avett Brothers are coming up with their very own way to reward fans. Scott Avett and his friends are making a limited series of paintings* that ..." ( that's all)
It is a link to "User Account of the official Avett Brothers Site" but when I click on it, it says access denied...

Does that just mean rewarded w/birds on here, like we have been (but not Scott's birds)?
I find it hard to believe we will be rewarded original paintings. But hey, if so, I'll take one!!!! I have been considering ordering a wall hanging from Pottery Barn of an old bird illustration. I'll hold up on that

levitating and flying, they are pretty much the same...what do you think?
it could be related--as Tami said, birds kinda levitate (though I'm not sure how it fits--birds levitate, but Scott's not a bird), so maybe they are finally subsituting the birds with their own art, as it as said they would on this new board when it started last April.
But still, it's cool that it will finally be their art, as promised, but is that the big announcement?

I can't see how adding their artwork to profile pages will be "one of the best things yet" as Dolph said earlier. Maybe this will be just one aspect of the big announcement. Who knows.

Bonnaroo has got to be part of it. Its too much of a coincident. Scott levitates and Bonnaroo's announcement of the lineup were both scheduled for the second, and they both got moved back to the 9th
Could they be playing Bonnaroo and could perhaps Scott have been asked to join in on the Super Jam (or whatever they call it) when a bunch of artists from different bands join together and play?
Levitating is kind of an odd choice of words for that.
Maybe they're making a huge Macy's Parade style balloon of him and they're gonna have it float in the sky over Manchester throughout the festival.

the Bonnaroo thing is awfully coincidental if it's not related, but I just can't figure out what the connection is.
Could he be playing with someone at Bonnaroo, without the rest of the band? what is the levitate connection, then?
