Oh and since this is not a general admission show it is perfect for a preshow get together!
I can't hardly wait until the July 11th show!!! They are so much fun live! My whole family is going.

Ok it's official then. "The Blues Barbeque Company" is the place. I know alot of people don't like to listen to the avett brothers the day of a show. I am not one mof those people. I like to play them nonstop the day of the show. I will however refrain from this if that is what the majority of people want to do. So as kind of a vote system when you let me know if you are coming- add on if you want avett music playing.
I will most likely be there. I am an Avett show day faster, but won't walk out if I hear them, either.

It's downtown on the corner of market and campbell. If you know where 202 Market is, it is right next to it in that corner. Or if you know where the science museum is it is in the same place but on the left side of the street not the right. Like mirrored from where the museum is.
Ooops - sorry I just saw there was a separate thread for Roanoke only, which makes perfect sense. Should probably respond to my question in other thread here.
When do we need to give you a headcount and do you have a time in mind?

No real rush on the head count. He has already said that it is fine. As far as a time, I am not sure, havent put any thought into it yet. I suppose a few hours before the show would be good. Maybe five or six. I am going to be availible all day, so it doesnt matter much to me. Anyone have a preference?
I'm one of those people who listen to the band I'm going to see all day before the show. Usually all week. haha So that's cool with me.
we have been gathering at about 5- 5:30 and allowing people to trickle in as they wish, gives plenty of time to chat for a bit, eat and then walk down to the venue.

When the avett brothers play in my home town it is a national holiday in my life, and I celebrate accordingly. So I will be partying and hanging out all day. So whatever time zou guzs wish to join in is fine by me.
Count me in! Ive been counting the days down, this will be my first show of 09...finally! I cant wait to meet some of you guys also!!

My wife and I are gonna be making this show. We got some last minute good news that made all 3 VA shows possible. I am totally down with hooking up preshow, cant wait to see some of you again and meet some more of you. Also not to hijack this thread but I am searching out two good tix for this show also if any of you have any extras. uniqueleds@aim.com

I have some local friends (who aren't on board very often) who had some extra tickets about 10 rows back (much better than you can buy now anyway I'm sure)....I'll send her your information.

I hope to be in Roanoke by around 6 and the get together sounds fun. I need to make some ticket exchanges and that sounds like a good place to do that. I will be in Raleigh on Friday the 10th for a Betty Levette / Marcia Ball concert. What a killer weekend of music!

Hey, I think me and three travel companions from Pennsylvania are coming. As far as music goes, I don't mind Avetts...though if it's not going to be Avetts, we should stick with the Blues BBQ theme and play some Muddy Waters and BB King and stuff. I can provide some tunes if thunes be needed! ha ha.
