Yeah roll tide my butt. The only thing Alabama is good at is cheating and getting caught with their pants around their ankles. Florida is gonna spank them in the SEC Championship and if they play like they did against Tennessee, then they'll slip against Auburn in the Egg Bowl.

I'll admit, we played very poorly against the Vols, and they played very well against us. But we've beaten them 3 years in a row. and we're 8-0. So I dont think we've gotten caught with our pants around our ankles. And the Egg Bowl is played with Miss St, vs. Ole Miss; Alabama vs. Auburn is the Iron Bowl.
VOLS.
The UT Bama game this year had me on the edge of my seat last quarter, hopefully next year's game won't be made up of almost entirely field goals.

i'm an Alabama fan (let the mud fly). Do i think they are the best in College football? no. Do i think there better then Texas? yes...Florida is going to win again because Tebow is a beast...granted he does not have the tools he did last year but he's still a beast....and this years SEC championship will be a hard fought one if Bama goes (knock on wood...the LSU game will be a tough one)

Yeah, you didn't come across very smooth in your previous post. There's no good reason to put Longhorn in quotes, either. Alabama is good but overrated, and Texas is playing better every week, and that's all you need to do-- win games and keep getting better. we're executing better, and we've even started playing in the first half. Alabama's had much closer games than Florida and Texas, and all their really tough games are at home. I'm afraid Bama will jump Texas next week though, unless they lose to LSU, which would be great, because we get to steamroll UCF.

Hahaha, what good teams has Texas played? Alabama has played way tougher opponents than Texas. Thus being the reason we play closer games.
As much as I hate to say it, OU doesn't exactly suck this year, and we killed them while they were still ranked (I don't care that Bradford was out, Landry Jones is doing just fine). We also whooped OK State, who are ranked. And we killed one of our biggest in-state rivals in Texas Tech. We're cleaning house in the Big 12, arguably the best conference in the country (though I do understand that the SEC can be argued for the same, Big 12 is at least second best). Generally, the Big 12 conference can play just as physically as the SEC and faster too. Coming out on top in this conference is no easy feat.
Bama has closer games, because they get lucky and squeak by when they should hammer all of their opponents if they're as good as everyone says they are. Mark Ingram...yeah, he's scary good. I mean, duh. Bama defense...seriously formidable. Overall, they could be more balanced, though.

I think Bama's only problem is our quarterback. When he plays good, we are as good as anyone in the country. I really hope it's Alabama and Texas in the Championship game.
meehh..the BCS is a bunch of BULL anyways.....dosent matter if we jump texas so long as Bama stays undefeated we'll have control of our own destiny. What bothers me are the teams like tcu, boise state, and iowa who will possible have a shot at it, assuming texas,bama, florida screw up along the way....
if one of those teams makes it...i'll claw my eyes out...i swear to god

The Big 12 is easily the 2nd best conference in the NCAA, but really, you cant compare OK, OKST, and TEXAS TECH to FLA, GA, and LSU...cmon. The SEC top to bottom is hands down in a class of their own...Whoever wins the SEC title game in Ga. deserves to be #1 and whip Texas, assuming they win out, in the BCS.

I'm pretty sure we can all agree on the SEC being better than the Big 12. I think its really hilarious whenever an Alabama fan calls our coach a "tool" whenever Nick Satan pulled the biggest bs up to date with him signing the dotted line to be Alabama's coach. He lied to the Miami media, to the Miami's fans, to Miami's front office, and to Miami's players multiple times and straight to all of their faces. The biggest two bit, liar, scam artist the SEC has seen in their coaching ranks. I'll guess the rest of the world will wait until Bama has an off year and someother team lures that con artist away for a couple more zeros on the pay check. Until then, Buck Fama.

The Horns are getting better each week. I have a feeling we're going to be playing UF in the title game as long as we take care of business. If we had a running back we would be unstoppable. The fact that we're doing so great this season without a go-to RB is astounding. Muschamp has the country fearing the Goon Squad. Hook em!!
I will concede that the SEC is a better football conference though....however, all around best sports conference? No way

Thanks for coming to back me up, JDubs! (I was hoping you would!) I guess I can concede that THIS year, the Big 12 is not quite as strong as it could be or was last year. However, I still think alot of SEC teams would struggle to keep up. The rankings are misleading; I think the matchups would be closer than expected.

I hate Florida more than Alabama. So I do hope Alabama wins in the SEC Championship. But I still hate Alabama. Give Kiffin and Tennesse 2 or 3 years and you're looking at a National Championship caliber team. Kiffin and Orgeron will take all of your recruiting and we will once again rule the SEC landscape. Um, I believe you can definitely compare Oklahoma St. and Georgia....OSU already beat them head to head.
That being said, I still think the SEC is definitely better top to bottom than the Big 12 this year. I just hope Texas and Florida battle it out for the title. That would be the best game out of all the contenders that are left.

Fulmer was a great coach in his day. In his day being the keyword. I was 100% behind the decision to oust Fulmer. He is a Volunteer through and through and should have resigned on his own accord to keep the program from falling as far as it did. The game passed him by. It was bittersweet to see him go. But Lane Kiffin is the man, he doesn't take any crap off of anyone (especially Urban Meyer) and he is resurrecting our program. He is not the only one who has been reprimanded this year, and even the SEC acknowledges that the officiating has been questionable. As for the rivalry thing, yes, I agree it is a bigger game than Bama and Auburn. But for me personally, I enjoy the Florida game more, because I hate the Gators with everything in me. As much as I love the Avetts, I hate the Gators even more. Urban Meyer and Tim Tebow make me sick. And Tennessee outplayed Alabama in Tuscaloosa, just about everyone acknowledges that. If we could kick a frickin field goal, Alabama wouldn't be undefeated. But "if" is the keyword. You did win......this year.

...ok...fulmer should have probably stepped down....but i work with a crew of TN fans and i cant name one of them that even remotely likes Lane Kiffen including 3-4 Knoxville grads ...and i don't know if Urban Meyer gave him any crap to take per say.....but ok.....it was more the other way around i thought.....kiffen talked smack....and urban pulled out the "W" ....and yes..your right the Officiating in the SEC has been questionable this year (especially the GA touchdown that was and excessive celebration) but there are always bad calls.....
and i'm no fan of Florida either but i admire Tim Tebow and i honestly don't see how anyone can hate that guy....he's just a good Leader and a good football player who should have 2 heisman's by now.....i also dont have a beef with Urban Meyer...guy brings a spread offense style football to the SEC which is usually the conference of good ol fashion "ground and pound" ....but other then that...i could care less about Florida...i do think they will win the title again though.....we shall see
and trust me man i know Tennessee outplayed us at home......we should have won that game by a 2 TD's....so if theres one thing i can say to ease your pain is: i dont Take ANY SEC Game/SEC Win for granted ....

As for Tebow and Meyer, I think Meyer is a piece of s**t. Tebow is a good guy, but to me he is fake and loves attention. i.e. The "I Promise" speech. But off the field, he is definitely a good guy. And I hate to see this, but I would rather Alabama win the NC than Florida.
