I'm going to be really, embarrassingly honest. When I first read that on the home page, I pronounced it in my head as Scott "Leh-vah-tah-tays." I thought "Who the heck is Scott Levitates?" True story. It's been a long day. I really can read though. I promise.

Graceful, I think you have confused levitating with teleporting. The first has great entertainment value while the second would allow the boys to be at home with wives and kids every night even while touring.

My mom saw this update come up on her facebook newsfeed and said " why is the avett brothers sending me a message about scott levitating?" ...i had to say " ok mom - your a fan of the avetts on facebook, and they sent that to all of their fans"...now she is just confused about him levitating. Dear avetts - why must we confuse my mother so?
If it is a video of just Scott, maybe he'll play "Flying Shoes" by Townes...On one of the count down to the album release videos he mentioned it was his favorite album. Thats my guess

I wonder if it's some sort of crazy vid made from all those stage dives he made back during the I&L&Y video shoot last summer.
It's a little literal, but the first thing I thought of when the word levitate came up related to him.
Or, maybe he actually found a way to hitch a ride in one of those paper lanterns we all lit up in Asheville on NYE. Hmmm... doubt we'll ever see him again if so.
Eleanor Avett's first album will be released. It is titled "Luv Daddy" which explains Scott's levitating.

OK you guys, I'm going to go ahead and confess right here. The brothers hired me to give them private yoga instructions while they are on break....what with all of that foot stompin' and being pretty hard on their knees pounding on the kick drum and high hat for the last decade....and well, Scott is just *this close* to levtitating now. We thought we better give it one more week just to be sure. Seth is not too far behind...

Is it coincidence that the Bonnaroo artist announcement got pushed back from Feb. 2nd to Feb. 9th? I can't imagine there being such a big deal about playing Bonnaroo when they have been there several times already.

I agree with mixeduplittlekid but what i think is going to happen is that seth and scott are going to let everyone know it and then they are going to take the shape of a giant unicorn and we all are going to ride them up to heaven while they sing ahh i hope thats what it is!
