Second Gleam vinyl etching

Second Gleam vinyl etching

Anyone else notice what is etched into the vinyl?

Side A- When it brings the gleam
Side B- Longer lasting that me

I always check when I first open new records to see if anything is etched into them.

had not noticed that before. I wish they could re-release all of their stuff on vinyl.

wow. I wish my record player wasn't a piece of junk.
I never bought the vinyl for this.
gotta get it fixed, otherwise purchase another before I receive this box set in the mail.
hopefully they have something clever etched into "I and love and you."
I will certainly look for it

i've heard rumors of them re-releasing everything on vinyl with maybe extra artwork

I hadn't noticed it until a few weeks ago. Thought it was kinda cool.

Nothing's good because nothing lasts. And all that comes, it comes here to pass.
I would voice my pain, but the change wouldn't last.
All that comes, it comes here to pass.

There was a contest when it was released last summer. First person guess the song from the lyrics etched in the record won one of those giant Emotionalism logos

That was a question used for a contest during the release of The Second Gleam. They gave a very nice promo display to the first person to send in an e-mail telling them what was etched into the vinyl.

EDIT: OOPS that’s what I get for posting before I scroll down and see the last post. Catfisher beat me to this but he did not beat me in that contest Smiling

Nice contest.

I remember that now. Ya, I remember being bummed when I went to stupid best buy to get the album. Of course they didn't have the avett brothers on vinyl. They didn't even know who I was talking about.

They DO have Chinese Democracy on vinyl.

I remember first seeing one of those hanging in a record store in Lexington KY and drooling over it.

What a geek.

You, not me, Dave.
