Does anyone know the type of hi hat Seth uses. I'm looking to buy a new one and need it to be very tough. For as much stomping around Seth does, his must be tough.

I am not sure what type of hihat he uses, but you are right, it has to be tough. I recommend watching him kick it multiple times during "Talk on Indolence" from the Charlotte show on 8/8.

anything from pearl, dw, tama, or yamaha should do you fine. all said brands have cheaper models and more expensive ones. i'm guessing you could go with a mid-priced one and it should do fine. i stomp my tama hi-hat pretty hard (while playing drums) and have never had a problem in 14 years of playing
