thanks for that last post about weight of lies chorus, the avett tab site is extremely helpful but what would be the chords for the verses in weight of lies?, i see the sight has the guitar written out but im on the banjo and cant make what the chords would be, can anyone extrapolate?
the chords are G and C. i would use the walk-up on the guitar on the banjo also. the banjo most likely is tuned at DGBD and the guitar is DGBE. So these would co-exist by moving the highest string position down two frets.
G on guitar 355433
G on banjo 5435
Great site Seth, thanks to you and your friends.
I haven't picked up a guitar in maybe twenty years. Because of your hard work and TAB's great songs, I'm back to playing.

Seth,
Kudos my man. I know this was a collective effort, but thanks again for compiling everything in one place.
Hey bro,
I checked out your wieight of lies tab and it matches up with what I've been doing.
Just wanted to add that the chorus changes a bit:
(capo 2) G Am C D
The weight of lies will bring you down and follow you to every town
G Am C D

Great site, AllBlues!!
I see that on "The Weight of Lies" there's some doubt about this line:
because lies don't need any roleplayin'(roadplane) to chase you anywhere
What I hear is this:
"because lies don't need an aeroplane to chase you anywhere"
Great site Seth, thanks to you and your friends.
