Tonight was Jim Avett's cd release party at the Evening Muse in Charlotte, NC. Bonnie performed some songs with Jim early on and late into the show Scott and Seth joined in for 2 songs. I will provide youtube links as soon as I can get them uploaded. Overall, it was a great night.

They played a Tom T Hall song, and the traditional Angel Band. It was beautiful.

I love it, please post the other also. This was my favorite Avett show, actually got to meet Scott. I was able to speak to everyone except Seth.
I'm really bummed that I couldn't make it

Awwww, Sunday . . . were you there too? Great photos! I cannot believe I missed this!
Aw, now I'm even sadder that I had to work and couldn't make it. Looks like it was a great time.
Some of my photos from the show. What a great time we all had.

Great night with David Childers and Jim Avett. Not a surprise that Scott and Seth showed up since they did two years ago when Jim played the Evening Muse, but a very nice treat. Two years ago there were probably 40 people in the audience, this time the place was packed before 8:00 pm. The shrieks by the young women during Seth's vocal during Angel Band was kind of strange. I'd like to think they were cheering the message, but I suspect they were cheering the messenger. The harmonies of the Avett children was spectacular.
What a treat! Awesome photos Sunday, thanks. And thanks for the videos Jason! The genuine sense of family they have and convey is what makes me a fan. I bet this was an amazing experience. Good luck to Jim on the new album!
I saw it. and it WAS amazing!! Got to talk to Jim Avett before the show and you could see how proud he was of his kids... to see them at Bojangles' with almost 10,000 people in April, and then in a small venue with 100 or 150 people was really cool...
