I can't get this song out of my head.
Especially the "Ain't it like most people..." line. It resonates.

It's a beautiful song. Bob Dylan's, "If You See Her, Say Hello" comes to mind.

This is a very powerful song, probably my favorite on the album.

Yes! I came here to post that exact comment. When my album arrived yesterday and I listened, to "Ten Thousand Words" that jumped out at me. The song is like an acoustic "Your Time Is Gonna Come." The cord progression is almost identical, there are similar Hammond B3 organ stylings and the acoustic guitars.

Ten Thousand Words is definitely the goods! I think so far it is may favorite from the new album. It's just stuck to my bones. 2 weeks exactly until I see them again. I'm hoping and wishing with all my might that they play it.

That was me with the blind melon reference. It reminds me of a combination of change and soul one maybe? i don't know, but i love blind melon and the avett brothers, so this song is just perfect.

Yeah thats what I think everytime I hear this song, espiecally the organ-sounding part. It's the same chord progression. I like to think that Led Zeppelin got the inspiration from the Avett Brothers.
