You're welcome! Today was my first day home and I thought everyone was expecting the pre-sale to be tomorrow, but it ends tomorrow.

It looks like everyone was listening to the pre-sale gripes.
It got to my inbox before 10...check!
There's a new user name and password...check!
The email specifies which shows are general admission and which are reserved seating...check!
I think that's all that I noticed, and even though I'm not going to any of those shows, I think that's pretty cool that things have gotten better. Many thanks to everyone who worked so hard to get this right!

I'll also add that when I bought tickets to the Urbana, IL show, the only delivery option I had was mail! This makes me feel so much better about driving that far for the show. I'll have my ticket in hand and I'll know that I'll be in the right line when the doors open. This is much appreciated--especially after the clusterf*ck situation in Covington.

Excellent! I got tickets for NYC and Boston. Philly is going to remain on hold for now. We got great tix for Boston - front row balcony! So pumped, I really hope we're able to make that show - it will be the best birthday weekend EVER!

I got 4 reserved seats to Ann Arbor...was hoping to buy 6 but 4 was the max. Called right at 10am and got front and center, but Row E (5th row)?? I was hoping for front row. They must be holding those tickets
Got Philly and NY....Baltimore tickets were will-call only, and it makes me just a little nervous. Just gonna wait until they go on regular sale.
is there early entry for Philly and NYC... for some reason I didn't get the email...

Here's what the presale site said re: GA:
For some general admission shows, a handful of presale buyers will be allowed into the venue before the doors open (early entry). If you are one of these lucky buyers, you will be emailed 1 week before the show with instructions for early entry. For some reserved seated shows, a handful of presale buyers will be upgraded to the front row! If you are one of these lucky buyers, you will receive an email letting you know that your tickets have been upgraded before Friday, June 12th, 2009. Please note: these offers do not apply for shows before September 1st, 2009.

I checked again and got 4 seats in the second row. The venue said I could call and cancel the order for tickets I originally got. Someone must have added them to their "cart" but then didn't purchase them...I guess.

Thanks for pointing that out--I was so manic I didn't even notice. Wonder what a "handful" means? And we won't find out until a week prior??? that's frustrating. I was manic b/c I wanted to be one of the first buyers with a chance for early entry--hope all the pre-planning and refreshing isn't for nothing!!!

Yankee, that is weird that you haven't gotten the email yet...yeah, I don't really see the point for pre-sale on GA tickets unless you're an obsess-o like me and want to have things the very second they're available.
What's the Philly venue like? We are definitely doing NYC and I bought tickets for Boston, but I am not sure whether or not we'll make the Philly trifecta. That's my birthday weekend, and I told Eli I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate my 33rd than 3 Avetts shows in 3 days, so we'll see...

I just got my tickets for the barrymore theatre in madison!! Im real excited, i havent even been to one of their concerts yet (Im going to the chicago show) and im already buying for the next show. Im thinking of going to the milwaukee show too.
stirred, I would assume that the Electric Factory is all ages. It's a really large old Factory/Wharehouse. There is a large balcony section w/ two bars that stretches across from above right of the stage to the back of the venue center stage. The balcony/2nd floor section as well as under the balcony left you are required to show ID to drink and such.. There have been 21+ shows there. The show isn't listed on the website.

Believe Ram's Head is all ages. If not I'm going to have three tickets to get rid of as I'm planning on bringing my daughter and will be 2000 miles plus from home.

Well, three of us split up three different cities, so I sure hope so (and actually, I was assigned--by myself--Boston)--and hope they let us in early--I really hope the early entry is applicable at some of these shows and (or only IF) the early people aren't random "lucky" people, but those of us who made the effort to get online at 10am on the dot--I'd be pretty annoyed if I made this effort and then others got in before me only b/c it was random. Hoping for some clarification on this. Okay, ranting over, and yeah!
Glad you guys will be at those shows--a Philly reunion and then some!
Yankee--why haven't you pm'd one of us--email me at chilixx@yahoo.com and I'll send you the email--you can at least get the presale tickets with lower fees if you want, though beware, Baltimore is will call.
