Must have Keith Moon on drums!

Blasphemy!
OK Yankee, I'll compromise, lets settle on: Dale Crover!

Yeah Dale Crover is freaking great in the Fantomas shows I've been too.. However I'd put him at a tie with Mike Bordin

Scott Avett, Dave Mayfield.
Yeah Ouneek... Dave was pretty sick on the kit in Philly...
I was also thinking some Miles Davis

If Cadillac Sky ever comes anywhere near you, check them out. Dave joined the band this past winter....hes a wild one. Great band.
Janis Joplin and Van Morrison sharing lead vocals
Hendrix- Lead
Jerry Garcia - Rhythm, Backing Vocals
Neil Young - Acoustic/Mouth Harp
Doc Watson - Mandolin
Earl Scruggs - Banjo
Victor Wooten - Bass
Santana's Drummer at Woodstock, whoever he was
Ludwig van Beethoven - Keys
Miles Davis and Coltrane - Horns
George Clinton - Hype Man
Now that band would have a funky-ass sound! I spent way too much time assembling this band. Ahhh, the hours I squander away...

hell yeah! i think nates got it!
Micheal Shrieve was Santana's drummer at woodstock. That solo is perfect.
Nate's band seems to have a very high instance of drug use and abuse--it's gonna be an expensive tour. I'm not sure what Doc and Earl are going to think about that.
I also like how Beethoven's on the "keys" and you've got a "hype-man". But, who's managing the tour and who's producing the albums?
Throw Andrew Bird into Nate's band and then it would have a crazy sound.
How about this
John Lennon-Guitar/ Vocals
Yoko Ono-Screams
Keith Richards-Bass
Eric Clapton-Lead Guitar
Mitch Mitchell-Drums
oh wait that already happened. I gotta say most super bands suck. They're cool for a few songs. But keep them in their real bands. Do you want the beatles or winston legthigh and the dirty macs? or even the traveling wilburrys?
one offs are okay or so and so joining onstage. but when's the last time a super group wrote a decent original song? not one that they played from a group that they were in?
i sure can't remember.
John Bonham - drums
Victor Wooten - bass
Patterson Hood - story teller
Derek Trucks - slide guitar
Roy Orbison - lead vocals (duh!)
David Gilmour - lead guitar
James Brown - backing vocals/sweet dance moves
Eric Clapton - just because
Ringo Starr - drums/just for fun (that's right... 2 drummers are better than 1)
Jeff Lynne/George Martin - sharing producing and engineering duties
Me - because who wouldn't want to share a stage with these people????
What a crew!

James Brown was a good thought for grunts, screams and dance moves. I thought about squeezing Derek Trucks in there on slide. I just figured the stage would get a little crowded. And I have a new idea for the drummer. Buddy Miles from Band of Gypsies. That dude was bad-ass. Mitch Mitchell, not so much.
I was sitting in a restraunt with my girlfriend last night, day dreaming. She asked me what I was thinking about. Haha, I was still thinking about this post, for some reason. I told her, "the ultimate band line-up." She laughed at me. I was actually trying to remember Sanatana's drummer's name, from Woodstock. Thanks, footstompin'. I concur, that solo was tits.
Oh!...What?...A nightmare!
