will it be before the inevitable brother fight/band break up? Since they are getting "more famous," I give it one year.

I give it 5 posts before falafel is discussed.

"Bring out the gimp."
I say they don't finish out this leg, the tension onstage is palpable. and Nate, thanks for not saying 25 posts.

I heard that Scott and Seth are already not speaking to eachother, and rumor has it that one of them is on the way out, and Bonnie is IN!
Do you think they'll change the name of the band?

I gave to you my ugly brown coat, you made it pretty when you put it on....

That would look great on a t-shirt!!

Yeah, I think jonny is being generous with his one year prediction. I mean, Scott did announce that he was his own favorite Avett brother at the Columbus show. If that's not evidence of professional and brotherly tension, I don't know what is. As long as the new ToTASaaCoOG album has more banjo I'll be happy.

I think they have already gone their separate ways, but Columbia replaced Seth with a cyborg to keep the image up.
Does that mean that Tin Man was the first song written by cyborg Seth? har har

"I wonder which brother is better, which one our parents love the most...he said I love you and I'm proud of you both in so many different ways."
Maybe they could make multiple Cyborg Seths, so we could have one in every state. You could see a Darling show every night!
If we're talking cyborgs, I want one of my very own.

Me too, then it could sing me to sleep every night.
...there is that robot dance video

So that's why cyborg Seth didn't join in on the robot dancing! He knew he'd be too convincing and would raise suspicions. Good call, lightning.

One thing I have learned about having sibings is there are rough times, but they always get better and relationship comes out better, and that you learn from the bad times.
... or they could end up like the Gallagher brothers of Oasis who want to kill eachother
Jenn, I can't stop laughing at the new band name.
They aren't actually fighting are they?
if they are, we don't know about it, we're just joking.

You guys had me very worried that they were going to break up, not cool.

Anytime jonnymohegan starts a topic, do not take any of the following posts seriously.
Ah, thank you very much for the heads up I haven't been around long enough unfortunately.

Of course, they are no longer fighting. Cyborg Seth is very agreeable. Although rather cold to the touch.

I think Cyborg Seth and Cyborg Noodle from the Gorillaz should put out a side project together. THAT WOULD BE LIKE TOTALLY CYBORGTASTIC BRO!
Fire lazy pants at will.
john mayer will replace seth in the fall, and in early december dave matthews will be taking over scott's duties. the band will inevitably relocate to colorado.
I just heard they're going to be featured on yet another cover album. This time it's a tribute to hair bands, I guess. It's called "Lords of Locks" and all proceeds go to Locks of Love, which is a great cause ( http://www.locksoflove.org/ ).
And the song they're covering? "MMMBop" by Hanson. A natural fit, don't you think?

My advice is simple: experience these artists.
Considering I used to be bats*** crazy over Hanson (circa 1997-1999), I'm okay with this.
