i never had a pair, but a had a friend who had like 25 pairs and they just never looked comfortable. direct foot contact + un-breathe-able plastic = monster foot sweat.

Nice! I miss my jelly shoes...
they make your feet sweat, rubbed blisters and then made your feet stink.
were jelly shoes really that great? Do you remember when they came out with the ones with glitter? Jelly bracelets too?
amen to that wifeoftinman...cuts and blisters all over my purdy piggies! they sucked.
but...they are fun to reminisce about, for sure.
annnnnnd, sweat attracts dirt. my feet always got filthy in those no good things. I think I have a picture in a pink pair circa 1983, but I don't know where it is.
